A grave announcement from Mister Administrator

Welcome to the TV Tropes and Echo Chamber Alternate Reality Game.

On 17.09.2012 a message went out to the wiki from the mysterious "Mister Administrator". As has become clear, cracks have emerged in the Fourth Wall that separates fiction from reality. This has allowed fictional characters to slip through to our world. Some have been filmed on video camera, as chronicled by the Youtube channel of Average Joe, while others have engaged us in direct communications. Examples of the latter would be the Cheshire Cat and Hercule Poirot. The tropers have been busy solving riddles and uncovering clues to the nature of this event.

Original Post (edited): I'm slightly curious about the new announcement banner linking to this video. The same video is on the main page, as of 17.09.12, 23:00 GMT. The twitter account that the video links to seems to go back quite some time, and is no less vague. Any comment, or will things become more clear in the near future?

I find myself less intrigued, more annoyed that I watched that pointless video. I'm on satellite internet here - that was like 10% of my daily download allowance.

Hmm...I suspect ARG, but who knows? Anybody find something up with the videos?

If I were to hazard a guess at what's going on, I would say it's... this?! Ah, but no, it can't be. Can it?

(Also, why do I know about something from that long before I joined?)

TV Tropes the Show is dead, so it's probably an ARG, or something relating to Echo Chamber.

A "dismiss" option for those that have already viewed would be nice.

Clearly the world is coming to an end.

The only one who can save us is Report Siht.

Yeesh, and here I thought that by "grave" Eddie meant "the site is going to be shut down for good". Don't scare us like that, man! XD

Do Not Adjust Your Set

I found evidence that there was an ARG planned in 2011, complete with asking for "puppet masters" halfway through the year. I don't recall that amounting to anything, but I rarely follow ARGs.

It probably has something to do with Echo Chamber, I think...

We did have an ARG here a while back. If this is one, it's probably Echo Chamber related this time.

Echo Chamber ARG—I'd suggest we turn this into some sort of central planning topic where we can share our findings? I've not done one of these before but I'd love to try my hand at it.

Was that style of administrator footage used for anything before Echo Chamber? Asking as it is basically the administrator now but I wasn't here prior to Echo Chamber.
