I know, I'm just thinking about how that's been a general theme throughout the series.

His intentions are ambiguous there (nothing new there), but it seems as if Eren deliberately goaded his grandfather into his breakdown. Seeing as he knew everything the old man did through Grisha's memories, maybe Eren had a grudge.

So, seeing that the awesome Liberio battle is what the anime is at at this very moment, it is bittersweet looking back and realizing that that was the last time we would be seeing Eren's titan and the scouts fight on the same side, so to speak. Shingashina part 3 was more of an Enemy Mine situation after all.

But now, it's all downhill from here. Starting with Sasha.

Hoping these 3 remaining chapters are satisfactory.

Impressive how much Eren has grown.

Back then Eren needed the Scouts and allies to survive, and now he can handle any threat even alone like he's Thanos.

Man those memes are funny.

He pretty much is Thanos at this point, given the whole "kill a lot of people to fix everything" plan.

Y'know thinking on it, Erens clearly not willing to kill as much as I assumed he said he would of those he cares about, since he clearly tried to assimilate as many Titan Powers into himself, yet Armin is being kept alive but in a coma.

Especially weird because Ymir brings out the Colossal Titan via Laser-Guided Karma Zeke, when she's shown to only manifest Titans Eren has consumed like the Beast.

[up][up] He is a being of near absolute strength and mental fortitude bordering less a man and more a force of nature, with an unstoppable single-minded goal to achieve what he thinks is best for everyone. Which in this case involves mass genocide.

Only he's actually upping Thanos since instead of killing half of everything, Eren wants to kill most of everything.

Eren is also under no illusions people will praise him or thamk him for doing it either. Except for those who are crazy.

And we are still uncertain about where Eren ends and Ymir begins, as well.

And yeah, Eren has grown a lot alright.

[up][up][up]Remember that Thanos does eventually decide to kill everyone in the end. He's unable to pull it off, but still.

All because they weren't "grateful" for his "benevolence" and "compassion".

At least him and Eren agree they should make sure no one will know what came before if they succeed.

I mean, our species is almost 300K years old, yet our genes point towards a most recent common ancestor roughly 100K years ago. Many, MANY people died two thirds of our history as a species in. And written language is only 5K years old.

If our entire history as a species was an hour long, our "Eve" happened 20 minutes ago, and we only have records going as far back as a minute ago. Shit did happen. Not mythological-esque shit, but, stuff fades away.

The thing is that Thanos wants to build a universe that is his own narcissistic paradise. For an egomaniac like him, he'd totally let slip the truth because his Ego and pride are his greatest failings, alomg with his need for people to be "grateful" to him.

Eren's interesting is he knows what he is doing is wrong and that he is the ultimate demon. Unlike many other characters I have seen like him hes under no delusions that what he is doing is the righteous and what he should receive praise for. What he is doing being wrong doesn't stop him but atleast he admits its wrong I guess.

That’s because Eren seems to be planning for his friends to kill him.

Eren’s whole plan is partly one extravagant suicide.

He’s similar to Reiner.

Holy fuck someone just pointed out to me that the Warhammer Titan's last words were literally "Do you have any last words?"

Wow those are some ironic words to die on.

She also could of potentially killed Eren if she did not do that as she gave the Survey Corps more than enough time show up. I guess her being the Warmhammer made Lady Tybur quite arrogant in a way.

Admittedly I can see why, the Warhammer Titan's power is broken as fuck. If someone with far more creativity and stamina had it they'd be a monster on the battlefield, letalone in Titan fights. Lady Tybur only lost that fight as she took a second to gloat rather than just ending it right there.

Eren isn't nearly as full of shit as Thanos, either, in terms of what his alternatives were and what his plan will actually accomplish. Also, I don't think we know of Zeke's exact status — Armin is there with him and he appears to be alive, just held hostage.

Eren is also trapped in hopelessness of "this is the only way things go". He is kinda... off...

Wait.

The kid who got trampled and he apologiced for that. He didn't see him getting tampled on, YMIR did.

Eren wasn't getting only his memories from the future. He was getting Ymir's as well.

I mean Ive pointed out before the future memory influencing the past to Freedom was always part of the Attack Titan, and that includes Ymir herself.

I'm kinda curious if Ymir's daughters will show up among the ghosts of Titans past.
