The Inferno is the first part of Dante's Divine Comedy; they aren't separate poems. There are several tranlations, you might want to do a bit of research before you pick one to read. I'd suggest one with notes on all the contemporary references, it's both allegory and roman a clef. Been a long time since I read it, so I won't try to tell you more.

Kafka is apparently super emo. idk.
I just read his book because the main character turned into a giant bug, and I thought that was cool.
