The All Purpose Tokusatsu Fan Fiction Thread

Sadly, I'm sort of going my own way with how the Drivers work.

For one, Bugsters won't be the antagonists, but rather Pixelvaders, monsters based off video game mascots. As such, the reason for why a Rider has to be in Level 1 is changed to that of a Levelling System.

Basically, you have to earn experience to level up to Level 2.

Eh.

If you plan to do your own thing anyway (and you clearly are since the doctors won't even be doctors) then I suppose you don't need to know how things are going in the actual series.

Saw the new Power Rangers trailer. It gave SOOOOO many happy flashbacks to my childhood from the time the first movie came out. And though I revile the Saban Masked Rider and everything it stands for to a depth unreachable by modern technology, I can't help but imagine what a similarly funded Kamen Rider movie would be like. Gaim or Decade for preference, but still.

I now have a new idea, one that is a Massive Multiplayer Crossover of the upcoming Super Sentai series, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger (Yes, I know the series hasn't been released yet. I just wanted to share an idea that I'd been having ever since the toy catalog was revealed).

Basically, the plot was more along the lines of the Galra Empire attempting to conquer the entire universe with the intention of ruling all life with an iron fist.

Not wanting any of that, the Kyutama would have summoned nine different people from nine other worlds/dimensions to have them become the Kyurangers and fight and stop the Galrans before the entire universe is under their complete control.

The Kyurangers would have been the following:

• Shishi Red: Izuku Midoriya
• Sasori Orange: Tommy Oliver
• Ookami Blue: Gaomon
• Tenbin Gold: Rock Light/Mega Man
• Oushi Black: "Pops"/The Guardian
• Hebitsukai Silver: Setsuna F. Seiei
• Chameleon Green: Honoka Kousaka
• Washi Pink: XJ-9/Jenny Wakeman
• Kaijki Yellow: Souma Yukihira

I wasn't sure of the direction I wanted to take the plot, but generally, I wanted the story to be more along the lines of Star Wars or Space Battleship Yamato, what with the heroes traversing the universe, fighting off Galran forces throughout the journey.

Okay, need help!

So, I WANT to write a Power Rangers fic based on the movie. Since it's me, crossovers! It was then that I realized how sadly lacking I am in American fandoms that don't involve Superheroes or weird detectives of some sort.

So far, I've managed to settle on The Dresden Files and Sailor Moon (specifically Minako) as viable subjects for this crossover (the latter conveniently having it's backstory happen between the Cenozoic era and the modern day helps, and hey, crystals!), and I've even managed, by squinting really hard, to get RWBY in there (it involves the convoluted explanation of having Taiyang being half Asian, half Caucasian, but it swings), so that's three Rangers. I'm keeping Kimberly since i feel I can work with her best in this fic, but i still need one more series, otherwise i default to one of the other canon teens. I'd rather not, for personal, non-bashing reasons, but my previous pick, The World God Only Knows, is nonviable due to how it can't mesh with the Dresden Files (I'm picky about that sort of thing).

Any (sane) suggestions? Because otherwise my depraved mind is going to start inching towards Akibarangers or it's 2-D sibling, Ore Twintail Ni Narimasu (both share writers). And no one wants that. Well, SOME might want that (me included, otherwise I wouldn't be considering it), but it's complicated enough having a ranger that's also part of another team and juggling mutually-secret secret identities. So, I have to avoid superhero series, because there's too much baggage there, and by my standards, the only one that would work would the Green Hornet (and no one wants that).

Suggestions? Otherwise I might do something crazy, like giving Trini Raging Heart or something and oh frick, now i have to resist the urge to write a Power Rangers/Magical Girl crossover!!!!!!!!!

So, help? Please? Even it's to just help kill this idea to get it to stop haunting me?

So, I guess I should bring up that I'm working on a Kamen Rider crossover with Re:Creators.

This may be a good a time as any to post my life long fan fiction project. This fanfiction is called Kaizoku Sentai Power Rangers Kingkaiger.

Essentially something like Dragon Ball Gokaiger, if the entire show is willing to outlast Gunsmoke and go far beyond. King and his family make a wish on the Ace of the Gods. (9 powerful artifacts with Atom based design, each being based off of a playing card suit or rank.)

The offsprings of King and Bailey, Ace, Olive, and Rook having dreams of living up to their owners legacy decided to wish for their family to become Power Rangers. (Their family's owners happen to be a happily married Tommy and Kat Oliver.)

Kitsune being outright generous decided that this family have won the Gokai Lottery. The various body and mind modifications to the housepets occur as well as gaining every piece of arsenal and perfect copies all the possible Ranger Keys from the various series as well as gaining the enhancing life elements of the Morphin. They have become the Kingkaigers, and thus the main protagonist for the entire seires. No replacement of the team will occur. ever. They'll also stay youthful

Also, it gives all the possible heroes and villains a new game plus to go through their new revival. Though it sticks to possible canon for deceased rangers.

So we start the special proper as it introduces the two additional Kingkaigers (Gokai Silver and the form's distaff counterpart Gokai Gold) as well the Griffon Empire with their hired men as Pete T. Griffon is the main big bad that the Kingkaigers have to face off against. A mix of Divatox's Goons as well as Rita's Goldar alongside additional additions as the years go on, not to mention all the footsoldiers from the Toei Tokusatsu series.

also, the only use of Lord Drakkon (which the fight is somewhat too faithful to TFS Climax complete with the Power Ranger's sacrifice, as well as (at the time) introducing the Ryusoulger forms in a manner of limit breaking transformation) The adventures truly begin with the first season adapting Ninninger.

It also introduces the concept of Rangerkeysmiths which will allow new Homebrewed Ranger Keys to be created and freely used whenever. (This is mainly to fill in gaps in teams with exclusive ranger forms that won't be found.) Though they have to gain the auxlluary zords' obedience to use them, at least everything is here, all stored in the hammerspace of the Gokai Galleon.

I am going to make sure that I keep working on this series no matter what for as absolutely no holding back scheduling wise and no episode caps to limit the series to hold it back.

Then the Season to coincide the 100th Anniversary Season being the actual Gokaiger season with a Sonic styled tie in Fan Game to release alongside it. Then the series adapt the last 2 Dragon Ball GT Storylines in it's own possible telling.

Anyways, the series uses the Japanese names for the various rangers, though they use American terms like "Morph" instead of "Henshin." to top it all off, a gonzo tone of mirth with plenty of self depercating humor as the characters make fun me for the likes of delays and what have you. Also, openings and endings like an actual tv show.

Don't start on the TV Tropes page until the first season is completed. Or you could start one before season 1 is complete. Just have to work a lot more to make the episodes possible in a reasonable time.

I hope I can entertain you as long as humanly possible. They're fighting for the fate of the world, Kaizoku Sentai Power Rangers Kingkaigers are on the scene!

So, I've been reading this fic that crosses over Ryuki and a doll line called Ever After High.

Though what interests me is the Ryuki riders being the Knights of the Round Table.
