No, Internet Backdraft is currently a YMMV trope, meaning that even after the example subpages get nuked it'll still be acceptable to link to the main trope from YMMV pages. Flaming tends to be involved in an Internet Backdraft, true, but you could say the same about any negative Audience Reaction trope.
I know it's a little late, but I think we should've kept the examples in some forum. One of the things I like here is reading about funny internet drama without the bile and hate from places like ED and 4Chan.
