I had it a few years back, and it was quite a bit of fun. I hope they revisit it after unlocking everyone, since that game tends to be fun to watch.

I hope they go back to Resident Evil soon. That's definitely shaping up to be an hilarious time.
I also laughed at Arin mentioning his "Book Dumb" status on TV Tropes. I find it weird that he took it as an insult, I see most people using his "dropped out of high school" status as some sort of compliment or achievement. A lot of his fan dumb definitely uses it as a go-to excuse for anytime he's less than intelligent.

I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI think he's upset that people find that worth mentioning, either positively or negatively. The fact that he got a GED doesn't really set him apart from anyone else, and I don't think he likes people trying to point that out like it's some unique characteristic.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorArin's an entrepreneur. A lot of guys would applaud somebody who ignored the blue pill of college, menial office work, crap pay, followed by medically-prolonged boredom of his twilight years.
Not that I would know. (downs shot)
I can tell these guys are wistful Sonic fanboys. The good kind, not the bad kind.

I'm a skeptical squirrelIt's been shown that they really aren't that big on Sonic, actually. Jon seems to have a very vague awareness of the series as a whole, whereas Arin has outright stated that he's indifferent to it at best.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyJesus Christ, Contra and Wild Guns are fucking insane. Contra especially. Jumping from missile to missile and using those missiles to destroy an alien shield while you shoot out it's weak point? Fuck.
I'm still surprised they're hanging in there with Sonic 06. At least they got past Crisis City, but it's not like it gets better.

Actually, I think they missed a button or two. When grinding on rails, you're not supposed to jump, there's a specific button to change the rail you're grinding on.
Unless you're talking about the Mach Speed sections, of which the worst is yet to come.
Now I really wonder how Flame Core's going to go, because that area is really broken and malfunctioning in a game that is pretty much made of broken stuff.

Never underestimate how over the top Contra can get.
How many simultaneous playthroughs are they running though? They've started a lot of new stuff over the past week and a half, so I'm wondering if any's abandoned yet.

Technically not, but the grind sequences in SA2 were basically railroads. Sonic Heroes had a lot more linearity, also. They seem to get longer and more intrusive with each game.
Sonic 2006 seemed to be fixated on the prologue to Shadow the Hedgehog, with the superhighway blowing up. The former was okay because it was stupidly easy and reminiscent of classic 'drop-in' scenes from Contra, Mercenaries and other action games.

I'm a skeptical squirrelJumping while grinding was a recurring problem in the earlier 3D Sonics; only Shadow the Hedgehog seemed to realize that the function should be "automatically transfer you to the rail in the direction you're indicating", not "fling you in the direction you pointed and hope the physics/collision detection are feeling kind".
Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.I think that Game Grumps settled the "DUDE YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE FACECAM" thing better then any other channel with Nintendoland.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.I think the complaint is that it didn't transfer over force of motion as well, like the Wiimote does in Nintendo Land (as well as somewhat in the Wii Sports Resort swordfighting game), but that is due to wanting to focus on the actual angle of motion and the more puzzle related aspect of combat, rather than having to swing with a specific amount of force to do something, which I'm rather disappointed that they apparently don't know or care to note.

That Godzilla game with all those buildings sure looks interesting.
