Flying Brick is Iron Man's most typical fighting style, though he's a fast brick. He does use some martial arts moves from time to time, as well. But really, what makes Stark dangerous is his mind - if he can't outhit you, he'll out-think you, by shooting you with some gizmo that screws you up.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Going off the films here:
Tony is basically a mix between a low tier flying brick and a gadgeteer, using the strength the suit gives him and then mixing it up with the various onboard weapons the suit is currently equipped with. The repulsors are the major cornerstone of Tony's arsenal, but drain the arc reactor's power supply; the flares, miniature missiles, lasers etc. are basically one-offs designed to keep Tony from using all the AR's power. Combined with basic boxing and grappling skills and Stark is covered should he exhaust all his onboard weaponry.
Like Tiamatty said though, Tony's greatest weapon is his mind. Case in point: The Icing Problem.
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Flying Firepower is another fighting style he uses, but not particularly interesting. It's very much a Boring, but Practical fighting s=tyle (well, besides all the laser beams).
Fight smart, not fair.In Iron Man 2, he trains with Happy in dirty boxing, uses that against Rhodes during their fight, and mostly beats the Hammeroids hand-to-hand (seriously, watch the fight when he and Rhodes are side-by-side).
If you're looking for realism, boxing isn't a bad idea when someone is wearing a multi-ton suit of armor. It's less exhausting than most other fighting styles but still effective, teaches good balance and movement, and allows for powerful strikes. In general, you want to stay away from any form of grappling or acrobatics, because the weight of said armor will make that sort of thing damn-near impossible and with a dulled sense of touch, grappling is nearly impossible to do correctly anyway.

I'm writing a story where a character wears a similar suit, and I've been thinking of interesting ways for them to fight. However, I'd like to know some antecedents. Much like Boxing Lessons for Superman, or having Ultimate Spider Man include Parkour moves in his repertoires, I'm especially iterested in works that have Stark using interesting and intricate flight skills and manoevers, instead of the Flying Brick type methods and poses that I've seen him take so far.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
