I saw no thread for it, which led me to think that I should start one, so... tada, I guess?

That's how I discovered Numberphile, which led me to ApAndAtom, Physics Girl, and PBS SpaceTime, so it worked out for me.
Ukrainian Red CrossSo I just learned that all youtube videos for kids will no longer have comments. Kinda sad since I enjoyed some comments (the ones that aren't horrible) like how everyone is excited for Owl House or love the Duck Tales reboot. I also noticed if you minimize a kids video on the You Tube app when searching for another video, the app will immediately pause it which is rather inconvenient especially if the video was a song.
Because of this sudden change, it finally made me rate my videos on my channel whether it's for kids or adults rather than leave it in a state of limbo.
It's theoretically possible, but they would need the highest level creators to join. Even if Pew Die Pie left entirely the ad money he made for You Tube would filter to others. You would need upwards of 100 million dollars worth of content creators to make enough of a dent in You Tube traffic to get noticed. If the middle-tier creator income is less than 40 thousand a year, that's a lot of people you need to sign on.
Unions in Hollywood only got started because the big name stars went independent from the studios and used their clout to get negotiations going.

Anybody else getting inundated with "kid" videos from Ryan's World?
I'm on this
video right now and my recommended is full of it.
Yep, that's the button. I've even posted screenshots of it before as a demonstration.
Edit: Or rather as I check now, maybe a related button in the tell us why section. Either way it's gone now

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Sweet salty christ no
Like. Nobody ever hacks Pewdiepie or any of the big-name channels where you could do some real damage. No, let's hack a random music channel and destroy 13 years of content.
Because f-ck everybody else.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!People certainly will have tried to back big name channels, but unless You Tube is reporting a huge security breach (which it isn’t) than this hack will have been caused by a security fail at the user end, small name YouTubers are more likely to not have their user-end security where it needs to be.

I wish I could completely agree with you but sadly I have seen youtubers fake getting beaten up at the very least via using very obvious make up.
The absolute worst example I have seen of someone faking something for publicity was these two brothers whom I do not remember the names of and don't care to remember the names whom faked one of them dying from cancer which was ridiculously disrespectful I don't even know where to fucking begin.
Their is this whole side of youtube filled with shit like this where some young white kids do dangerously stupid, obvious scams, or doing absolutely horrible and disrespectful things to get views. I think the Paul brothers started this genre of awful youtubers but I am not quite sure.
That side of youtube pisses me off so much I avoid it entirely. People like that make it so the people whom pop up on youtube that actually got beaten or are suffering from debilitating illness of any kind get disparaged and called fakes even when they aren't. I will never understand how fucked in the brain you'd have to be to fake being a victim of cancer just for the money but I don't think I ever want to understand what goes through those shitty people's heads.

I just realized since kids videos on You Tube will no longer run ads, that means many kids videos of questionable quality have lost their source of income unless their being sponsored.
Wait they can’t run ads? I thought they just couldn’t run ads that harvest the personal data of all the people watching them. Now that’s the most profitable youtube ads so it will still hurt their bottom line, but I don’t think it’s a total loss of revenue.

I always said the "block channel" option was BS.
