I saw no thread for it, which led me to think that I should start one, so... tada, I guess?

Psch. Come on. If they did that, then people would have less of a reason to start using Google Chrome!
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.So you can post a comment if you're using Firefox if you reply to another comment instead of using the commenter at the top.
Though now the way it keeps track of what's going on with your comments is pretty cool, and easier to see if someone responded to your comment.

Great, now I can't even listen to a simple piece of music without it stopping not even a minute into the video. What the hell did they do to You Tube?
I don't even want to use You Tube anymore. Google has really done it this time.
Google, no-one wants to use Google+. You are already swimming in a pool of money Scrooge McDuck-style, and you already have the world's most popular search engine, and a very useful internet browser. Why'd you need to force your social network on us?
The first straw with You Tube's changes was the new channels. They were horrible, and no where nears as good as the the old one. If they wanted to modernise it, they should have just kept the same layout, but updated it visually. Then they messed up the home page, by replacing your subscription feed with "What to watch". Then they kept nagging you to use your real name. And then they went and made you have a Google+ account automatically. And know I can't even comment unless I use Google+. I can't even reply to old comments anymore. The only good change Google ever made to You Tube was the "show the comment" feature.
I'm not even going to bother and sign in to You Tube anymore. It's not worth it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMHas anyone found their inbox yet? Or did Google actually delete it for a Twitter-style notifications board?
Also, mandatory "don't be evil" sarcastic quotes.
On the weird side, Google was too stupid to put in text limits, and they forgot to prevent ascii.

Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"

I honestly have no idea if I just haven't been getting comments the last few days or what, because I've looked around for where the new thing comment notifications go to are and I cannot find it for the life of me. If it's in the notifications thing, the only things there for me are the three "WELCOME" things.
Anyway, the OP in this thread
describes exactly the problem I've been having with the comments in Firefox. I just tested it with Internet Explorer and it works perfectly fine for me there, so I have no idea what the hell. I guess since Microsoft is a much bigger company than Mozilla, Google would rather step on the toes of the little guy?

Ugh. I don't want to switch browsers just for that. I have certain things organized in certain ways (I'm logged into a different YT account on each different browser I have; plus, Firefox is what I do pretty much everything in), and it feels like it'd be arbitrary just to switch because of that. But at least it's better than on Internet Explorer, where every time I open a new tab You Tube thinks I'm now logged out in that specific tab.
What I'm saying is Google has an obvious slant toward trying to force people to use their own browser, and I don't like it one bit.
