Orion: Well now, things just got interesting...
Sentry: I think that the initial premise- a superhero forgotten by the world and himself who has to rise up again to save the earth -could've made a pretty good one-off story, divorced of continuity. But being brought in again, all unstoppable, and having every major character be old buddies with him kinda reeks of a Marty Stu. I know that phrase has been bandied about a lot, to the point where it's losing all meaning, but he does come pretty close to my own definition at least.
Also, I've just realised that I never got around to making a link to Hub City in the sign-up threads. This must be rectified, posthaste.
EDIT: Christ people, calm down, you're posting like a freight train again!

And a Strange Figure Emerges.Seriously hope not on Hub City. Silver Slade must continue.
The obvious solution is to create a space spin-off.
Personally I find Coulson more interesting than both Hyperion and raze but here it is my advice Bean
@Bean Liking a character ,as it is, is half the "battle" and the other half what you do with you character. Iron man years ago wasn't that popular among non-comic fans. Even I thought he was lame the first time I saw him in the spiderman the animated series cartoon. Now after the movies he is among the most popular superheroes ever and I love him now too.
My point is that you will like more your character if you make it yours.
@GOA So what do you think about having Chloe involved for a bit. If you don't like the idea I can understand.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.![]()
Don't get me wrong whether it is Hyperion or Raze I am sure you will do great.
Did you guys knew that Chloe married Oliver Queen rather than black canary in smallville?. @kkhohoho who do you think it's Oliver's true love?.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.I'm catching up on the last month of Hub City posts, and I have to say that Winter Soldier's reaction to getting headbutted made me laugh way more than it should have.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~@kkhohoho: Stargirl just made a letter to Godfrey about setting what she thinks is a more moderate form of government sponsored superheroing , but really may be setting herself up as Godfrey's possible personal attack dog.
@Everyone else: Just to let everyone know, I am under the assumption that Rocket spoke with both SHIELD and the rest of the Justice Avengers about his plan whenever he finally catches the Owl, so go ahead and hop in to help out if you needed a reason to.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Oh yeah, The Sentry was a Mary Sue/Gary Stu, complete with his worst enemy necessitating the ultimate sacrifice from his part (in his case, being forgotten by the world rather than dying.) Still, given that he was basically a "What if the Silver Age Superman had been a Marvel character?" take it was Ok as a one-off, non-continuity concept. Now, again, I'm not sure how much of the original series is supposed to be canon or not. I know there's supposed to be a guy named Sentry who can fight The Hulk. However I heard that the part about his having been part of Marvel's beginnings was just a hallucination of his...? In any case, if we use this lesser take (instead of the guy who could match brains with Richards and Stark) we could make him playable. We already have Majestic after all.
(Btw, DC has *its own version* of Sentry- a character named Triumph, a "lost founder of the Justice League" in his case due to time travel shenanigans. DC ribbing Marvel right back?
)
@RPG: Like you folk today say: Green Arrow + Black Canary OTP!!
LOL just kidding its OK have fun with the characters.

Unless something unexpected occurs, then yes, Black Canary would be GA's #1 sweetheart. However, depending on how relationships between him and other characters in the RP develop, that could change.
And about Stargirl, then yeah, we might be able to do something there. GA has no qualms about messing with the Goverment to do what he thinks is right, and if Stargirl ends up working with them, as well as for f'ing Glorius Godfrey, then at the very least, he'd likely confront her. Depending on how the confrontation goes, it could escalate into a full-on brawl.

I thought Triumph was a 90s character, so he'd have to have been written before Sentry.
Funny enough, I was debating between Majestic, Hyperion, Icon, and Triumph.
My various fanfics.

He should build a weather machine and make it rain all of the time because he hates smiles. Those are the best kind of villains.
