Storm would be happy for the distraction, if you're looking for someone in particular to set stuff up with.
Sorry, RPG Legend, but is your character now Chloe?
Also, the idea of Hyperion in NY sounds interesting.

@Start Yes, Liz gave me permission to use her a while back and yes I am reading what she did on her debut on this game..
Don't worry I am confident I can deal with her. I saw smallville for years and I know a thing or two about her character :).
@GOA Yeah having her giving them company as a reporter and if you want giving them intel on their mission.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Liz, would I be able to reserve Hyperion for New York, at least for this first time I'm playing Raze?
The thing is, I want him to be a full-on villain, but I want to see how things end up being played, if he becomes a foreground/background character, an one-off villain like Music Meister. I certainly hope he doesn't end up like that, but if he does, I might want to go for Hyperion.
I realize it's bizarre how much I switch around. So far, I've had three characters in New York. I really hope Raze is the right one.
Speaking of hyperion and Majestic what you guys think of The sentry?. I admit I never read a comic about him but I hate him in a Love to Hate kinda of way. He could be a big threat for a future plot with his void persona.
@snark I think I like Majestic more than Hyperion (if he is like the ultimate spiderman cartoon version).

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.If I use Hyperion, well... I'm not sure if I'd be using him as a villain or as a Well-Intentioned Extremist hero. In the current comics, Hyperion's good because he comes from an universe where the Squadron Supreme was good (and also died). I was thinking about someone who still has good in his heart and his mind, but who has been jaded by the world so many times that it comes to a point where he 'accidentally' forgets it.
I'm designing him as an ally but also as a foil to all the members of the Justice Avengers. If one is an extreme optimist (Miss Martian), then Hyperion has gone through enough suffering to poke holes in that optimism. The point of this is not only to make the JA see him as an ally and a possible threat, but also as someone they could help and turn into an even stronger ally.
Darn. I'm getting more interested in Hyperion than in Raze. I gotta stop doing this.

Marvel has so many Superman rip-offs it's ridiculous. They have at least four versions of Hyperion alone that I know of (the original, his evil duplicate, an evil one who conquered his own Earth, and the one from Ultimate comics who was raised by the government in a mockery of Superman's origin.)
As for The Sentry, I admit I'm not terribly clear on him because originally he was supposed to be a "lost" Silver Age hero, who for some absurd reason the whole world HAD to forget so the heroes caused collective amnesia about him. And he was clearly based on Superman as well. Since this messes with continuity (a bit) I was under the impression it wasn't part of mainstream Marvel, and then they reintroduced him in The Avengers! I never got around to reading what explanation they had for him, though.
@Demo: Could Karen's relatives be related to... Carol Danvers, aka Miss Marvel? I mean, they don't have to, but it would be neat.

Hey, anyone wanna involve Darwin in their grand adventure?
Should I work out some stuff vis-a-vis the Weeper's "gang" with others?
