I should point out that Guy's original, true personality is that of a goody-two shoes. His asshole persona was the result of brain damage (caused by a defective Power Battery and the Phantom Zone villains) plus the Guardians mindfucking him when they needed a badass Green Lantern during the first Crisis. This is why he switches personas around when he hits his head ( a running gag during his JLA days, although a dumb one in my opinion.) Of course nothing prevents him being used as a Jerk with a Heart of Gold here from the start if we want to.
...Though I would rather he had his weapon-arm powers (from his Guy Gardner: Warrior series) rather than a power ring (they are more unique... not that I expect anyone to agree.
)

I entertained the thought of playing Rainer as basically Scott Pilgrim with a power ring, but it seems like you want this way more than I do. I just don't want Guy cleaning up Hub City in an afternoon with some comically oversized green vacuum cleaner.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~Oh, yeah, Sij. I read that comic where Guy Gardner made his original appearance as just an imaginary story where someone other than Hal got the power ring. Back when I went through that phase of reading those giant, phone book anthologies at the library.
Didn't expect THAT, didja?
@GG I am sorry for my lack of replies lately and the fact that I left Terra hanging, but I have had some real life stuff to deal. But I promise to post tomorrow :).
I personally love green lantern as he is a very underrated hero among the general public. But I have always found fascinating the star sapphires too as I live by the idea that love is the greatest of all emotions.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.I read a Winter Soldier storybook for kids.
Mostly it's me laughing, but hey. Storytime. Ohhhh yes.
Also it is my weekend HOORAY. I will be unconscious if anyone needs me.
Easing back into life one step at a timeWelp, that is a bit more accent than I expected.
Heeeeehee hee hee hee, Mysty sounds like Roseanne.
My various fanfics.I actually want to get your opinion on something. Should the two servants Terra ends up be actual DC/Marvel characters, potentially with powers, or should they just be original Muggles?
Wizard Needs Food BadlySo, seems like you guys were all very talkative last night.
...means you can all go be talkative in the New York thread, right? [hint] [hint]
Anyway. Firstly, it was Slendid Suit who reserved Kyle Rayner. God knows where he is now though. Secondly, that was quite amusing, Mysty. Perhaps I should make a video appearance of my own sometime. Thirdly, Bean, I'd say you may as well include the Sentinel attack, because it was definitely a big thing that happened, like it or not. Fourthly, also Bean thank you for your suggestion, I shall be doing that with Hub City posthaste.
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Mysty: that was very amusing, yet informative. Thank you. Say did you ever seen the Phineas and Ferb episode guest-starring the Marvel Heroes? Now THAT was pure cheese for kids.
Tails: two things- 1) comic book characters always come back to life and 2) I'll complain if I damn want to.

I'm currently out-of-country, so I'll post tonight when I get home.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~Liz: All those characters either are too forgettable, or too much of an embarrassment to bring back. But make no mistake, the moment anyone comes up with a good reason (to them, anyway) they can be brought back. (I would never have guessed they would bring back Bucky, after all he was Cap's One Big Failure; but the Winter Soldier plot isn't bad, I admit.)
And before anyone mentions it: Yes, I know the Waynes came back to life in the (atrocious) Flashpoint, but they went back to being dead so Bruce could forever lament them right afterwards. Like I said, their role is to stay dead.

Heh heh. Kyle. Heh heh.
