Go A: I'm not sure I said that you could do any posts for the Weeper yet. Don't get me wrong; those are some rather interesting, and atmospheric bits you've made. But without anyone to do anything about them, they seem to be just posting for the sake of posting.
I could get someone to drop in on Metropolis on the next game day, 'kay?
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Yeah because they have absolutly zero prolems to deal with here in New York. IMHGO, either people should stop trying to loophole around the one player-one character rule or we should calve off a whole new campaign set in Metropolis or Gotham, maybe to be GMed by someone other than Liz if he doesn't have the time to do it himself.

Trump delenda estTroublesome things in NYC that the good guys don't fully know about:
Raven Darkholme, The League of Assassins, Night Shift, Graydon Creed, Oscorp (Hi Circut Breaker!), Rose and the Kingpin.
Troublesome things in NYC that the good guys DO know about:
Joker, She-Bat, The Maggia The Cosa Nostra, The Owl's Gang, The Big Man, Punisher, Rorschach, Parasite, Bane, potential crap at Jack's next show, escaped inmates from Ryker's (and escaped lunatics from the Raft).
We're not running out of things to do in New York, not at all. About the only thing on that list I'd skim over is Big Man, Question really showed him who's boss.
...okay, I think it's time I finally came clean. Mostly.
I have been hoping to have a spin-off for this game for some time. I factored it into my plans for some time, that there would be a game taking place in one of the other cities. The thing is, though, I was hoping to have it come as a special event, on a particular day when there weren't any other plots to worry about.
In my head-plan, that day would come in about three or four in-game day's time. In the time we move through days, though, that could come at the one-year birthday of this RP, maybe even further. So a couple of thoughts occur to me: either A) I could let the spin off out early, or B) the special event day could come sooner than planned, because let's face it, there would probably always be overarching plots that the characters focus on. Or C), we carry on as normal, and the spin off will come when it comes.
What say you?

And a Strange Figure Emerges. While I agree that splitting the storyline off into another city now could make some of the more antsy players less antsy (and possibly interest more players), I think having it set in Gotham, which is practically next to New York in our universe here, could bring up problems keeping track of everything that happens that could affect both cities. I'm still more all for the idea of having the spinoff RP happen in a city a fair distance away, so that both can run concurrently without having to worry too much about each other.
I think either California, Washington, or another country entirely would be the best bet.
Or maybe Texas, I think that would be fun for obvious reasons, though I don't think everyone else would agree with me on that.
Tv Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Have the spin-off set in San Francisco, aka Jump City!
Justice Avengers: Jump City Jamboree! Welcome to the wild West....
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!I like Metropolis too...and I have all these ideas and stuff...but Demovere's right I guess. For now, it might relieve tension if we have somewhere further. I dunno, maybe Keystone City or ev-
Of course, it's so simple! Where is a place with loads of cool characters? Where is a place that's far from the current setting, but close all at once?
Where better than...THE PAST?
And a Strange Figure Emerges. How far in the past
Also, that is awesome.

Tv Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Why, back to the Golden Age, of course! I'm thinking we could start it at the inception of the Justice Society, on the cusp of World War 2. Players would have their pick of almost any Golden Age superhero character. I know what Mysty is thinking, and the answer is yes you may. However, for understandable reasons, the world's finest duo are right out, and I'd like to ask that we try not to go for too many legacy characters. For instance, if you want to go for Hawkman, try Red Raven, and if you want to go for the Flash, try the Whizzer!...or not...
And a Strange Figure Emerges. As an old fan of DC's All Star Squadron series, this appeals to me. I already had some ideas, though no character chosen yet (though I'm leaning to Doctor Fate.) Let's see:
- The Squadron was formed after Japan attacked America, and Hitler used the Spear of Destiny to cast a spell that took control of magical (or magic-sensitive) heroes who tried to enter Axis-held territory. The President asked all of America's "mystery Men"(as superheroes were known back then) to fight against threats to the home front, while Winston Churchill organized a superteam to engage on special missions on Axis territory (obviously, no magical or magic-vulnerable heroes could be included.) This is Marvel's Invaders, but I always hated that name, so instead we'll call it after DC's Freedom Fighters (both teams will have characters from both companies. For example, Captain America and Sub-Mariner could replace Superman and Batman.)

I'll probably just track down the old Blue Beetle comics and be the first Blue Beetle.
Tv Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Or Captain America. Or the first Wonder Woman, Princess Diana herself. I pretty much left that open for someone to take when I changed Artemis' origin. :)
But I am not that fond of the idea of setting it in the Golden Age. I know next to nothing about the period, and would be worried about keeping it accurate.
