Red Lantern Red Hulk could probably take on Mxyzptlk, Shaggy Man, Galactus and Squirrel Girl in a fight and win.

He'd be leading the Reds in a couple of space weeks 3 tops.

Damn right. In fact, I would be cautious about ever allowing Squirrel Girl on here, and if I did, I'd impose a restraining order between her, doctor doom, and any cosmic entities.

I honestly wasn't expecting that you would have a big story arch planned out for a B-List villain like Man-Bat, but hey. The Lizard wouldn't be a bad runner-up choice, and since Amazing Spiderman featured him...

Nekron would probably be the only thing who can defeat Squirrel Girl. Not even SHE'S immune to death itself......

Hey! Maybe THAT would be a good way to show just how dangerous Nekron would be once we introduce him to the RP! Have him killing off Squirrel Girl!

@Lizard: Maybe you can pick that script back up, change the main villain from Man-bat to the Lizard, and rename it to something like Ouroboros Syndrome or something.

Admittedly, it wasn't really that big, but it was still one of the more sizeable ones.

In case you were wondering, my version of Langstrom would have been forcing his wife, Francine, into taking his serums to make her a manbat, out of some perverse love for her. To do this, he would have enlisted the aid of the crime lord known as the Owl.

The main reason I picked Man-bat to make a story for is because he fit the requirements of Spider-man's rogues gallery.

Yeah, that's immensely different from my telling of Langstrom. Doesn't sound like he would be even remotely sympathetic. Come to think of it, I didn't mention Francine in my bio. I'll just say she passed away some time before the events of the RP.

That sounds like it would've been pretty rad, yeah.

Though like Ud said, you could probably retool it with the Lizard instead of Man-bat.

I need to think of a way to put Batman/Bruce Wayne into the RP somehow.

Just have him show up right now, when everything has finished. I do actually have an idea for getting Batman in the RP. I was planning on having Blue Beetle ask the other heroes for training because he is not very confident on his chances for defeating an alien empire on his own, and he has to do it on his own because he is the only one who can see them. So we could always have Nightwing recommend him to you. I understand if you don't want to do that, I just thought I should mention it.

@luckybreak: I think so, unless Lizard manages to pull something.

Of course, my guess is that Batman would probably hide his civilian identity from other superheroes, which might make things interesting.

Storm just mentioned help at the Academy for the Beetle, but that was on general principle more than anything else.

Presuming he get's the offer for both, Blue Beetle would rather train under Batman because he would assume that Batman would teach him how to fight smart while the academy would teach him how to use his powers better, and Jaime would rather learn how to fight smart. After all, Ted Kord never had any powers and he was a great superhero because he fought smart.

That, and all of Jaime's powers came from an alien scarab on his back rather than being born with them. XD

Story arc idea: Well all now that while the public in DC is generally very positive about its heroes while Marvel is full of ungrateful bastards? I'm thinking of deconstructing these two very different aspects by the use of people using negative PR is decry the heroes but revealed to the public be actual supervillains that are on purposely dragging the heroes' names in the mud to further than own gains. From there, the public is split completely in half: Those that immediately forgive, whom are the vast silent majority, and those who still are total bastards even after the ruse is revealed, whom are the vocal minority whom the majority write-off as crazy.

Expect for fights and pummeling to break out whenever any of the minority try something on the street to the heroes' faces.
