Therefore, I am creating this thread to clean up hottip markup in the wiki, and do one of the following:
- Remove the hottip and weave the explanation into the description.
- Replace the hottip with either the note or labelnote markup, as appropriate.
Syntax for a note markup is (for those who are unaware):
[[note]]-text to be revealed-[[/note]], which yields: note
Syntax for a labelnote is: [[labelnote:-text to be displayed-]]-text to be revealed-[[/labelnote]], which yields:

Digimon Adventure 02 E 1 The Inheritor Of Courage is literally filled with hottips pointing out the differences between the different versions. What should be done to it?
It doesn't even say what these hottips are. I would just delete them.

EDIT: I also removed the hottips from all the Nightmare Fuel pages.

Question: Anyone know why Characters.Tour De France is on the list even though it is a locked page with no content? Trying to view the source just gives me a white page.
I would think the code that generated the hottipped page list was slipped a blank page in. Or that the page was recently cut.

I took care of the last 218 pages on Sandbox.Hottip Cleanup September 2013 Update M To S, and since that was the last page, I've cutlisted all remaining sandboxes.
Now, shall we do a third pass or can we break out the badges and festivities?

A few steps before that, in the given order:
- The troper pages mentioned before need to be edited.
- The hottip markup needs to be disabled.
- An announcement and headline need to be posted (the latter, because some people still use hottips)
- This
needs to be taken care of.
- General festivities.
- This thread needs to be morgued.
