[up]Well said milady that is how any good team should be made of partners who support each other in moments of adversity. I think i'll get along with you very well.

[up][up] Some of the greatest pokemon that I have seen have been the "Small and cute" ones who are are fearsome in their rights never underestimate them based on how they appear. As the old adage goes "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

"Spaghetti is cute!"

-It's a six foot long serpent. But a cute one.-

[up] I suppose it is. I must say that I have always been attached to pokemon of that sort.

So yes Ms. Pen Draig I would say that "Spaghetti" is indeed cute.

[up][up]"No, I not saying that its any cute and cuddly looking Pokemon are weak. I've seen a lot of adorable Basic Pokemon kick some major ass! Heck, I once say this really epic battle between a Pikachu and a Shinx; nearly leveled the town block the battle took place in. What I'm saying is that only Clefairies aren't heavy hitters. Most of their abilities are support and buffing and their offensive capabilities are terrible. Clefables are at least better offensively and have a massive list of attacks that they can learn from tutors."

"You have such a narrow-minded view of things. Holding to that belief shall be your downfall."

Uh, yeah, uh, we kinda decided before this even began that we were throwing all of the competitive battling crap out the window. Just so you know.

[up][up]"One word, my friend: Metronome. I hate that move. It might be my bad luck, but the last time I saw it used, I almost fell down a crevasse left by an Earthquake. Hate it, hate it, hate it...no offense, of course, to Whitey."

EDIT - Never mind the text that was here previously; there was a misunderstanding.

"Why really care for types? The most valiant of pokemon is worthy to be by my side, regardless of power, and nothing else matters! Except not Jinx or stuff, ice types give me the creeps..."

Umm... Endark? We mean that the competitive battling rules and strategies, in general, are going to take a complete back seat to Rule of Cool and Rule of Fun. Most people who initially signed up have no interest in micromanaging, minmaxing, or general chicanery.

[up][up][up] "Indeed. I can empathise with your hatred of metronome as I have seen a Clefairy use the attack of the legendary Arceus himself Judgement!"

[up]"Yes Megahorn is 'One hell of a move' as you put it"

I'm happy with the removal of combat as I favour PLOT AND STORY! anyway. Please note that was meant to be hammy not sarcastic

"It's really quite simple. Power? Type? It doesn't matter, what matters is how valiantly your Pokemon battles alongside you."

"And also what kind of cake you share afterwards. ^_^"

"Anyway, Lily, if you and Gemma could PLEASE be a bit more discreet around the castle?"

There's still combat. We just don't use the competitive tiers or metagame stuff.

[up] "But don't you believe that remaining discreet is rather boring? The greater the noise the greater the communication, the greater the communication the greater the understanding of one another, the greater the understanding the greater the likelihood of friendships is it not? And friendships are vital to human and pokemon nature."

Actually that's better now that I think about it as the combat remains but the vitalness of it disappears as does the metagame.
