The Streets, Archwood City
"Please loosen your grip a little, Helen," the magus said, lifting her free arm and letting the sleeve slip down a little so that the bandages were revealed, "You're digging into the cuts..."
Cheap Hotel, Archwood City
"Fine, fine..." the spirit answered, finally shutting up—more out of a lack of things to say than any consideration for his master's feelings, though.
Brunhild Residence, Archwood City
Exactly as he had said he would, Lancelot entered spirit form.
The Streets, Archwood City
"Oh... S-s-sorry, mother... I... I didn't m-mean..." She had been hurting mother? How could she do such a thing? She was sure mother would hate her now... They always hated her. They always rejected her. She didn't want them to go. She didn't want to do that to them, but they left her no choice...
"I... I... P-p-please, I'm s-s-sorry..." she whimpered, as she let go of Rachel's arm.

The Church
"Oh... well... I'm glad!" Faust quickly replied, her enthusiasm returning(thought not as strongly). She now realized she shouldn't have been so nervous about meeting the overseer, now that she knew that they were a heroic spirit themselves. And not just a heroic spirit, but a knight! She was so pretty, with her armor, and just... if Faust hadn't taken the route of a magus, she would've desired to grow up to be someone like this. Then she could protect Gretchen, and they'd have been friends for ever and ever... well, that's what had happened anyway. Gretchen and Faust were the closest of friends, Gretchen was Faust's only friend, but... with what had happened...
There was enough thinking about that. She was in the face of a knight in shining armor, Faust didn't want to start thinking about something like that right now. "Um... Oh, Gretchen wants to know too... one last question! What's your name?"
Cheap Hotel
At her Servant's response, and then silence, Chieko headed for the stairway at the far side of the hall. As she went, she considered things. Heracles'... temperament was going to make the proper execution of her plans much more difficult. That shouldn't mean they were impossible. There would have to be some adjustment here or there, but the shock factor of someone like Heracles being used as Assassin would still(hopefully) take the other Masters off guard. As she left the building, she signaled for her familiars(in the form of a pair of swallows) to take flight and scout the city for the other Masters and Servants. From there, they would relay whatever information they gathered to her, while she... went shopping.
She continued onward, towards the city's shopping district. Chieko was sure that she saw a late-night clothes store advertised there somewhere. From there, the problem would be finding something that fit the eight-foot giant of a man. In fact, it wasn't long before she found the shop. It was small, a squat little building that seemed very bright and intensely white in color. Chieko too a deep breath, and entered, and found... largely nothing. What was there tailored for a giant, after all? She continued her search, and then...
That was a suit. Hanging on the back wall. And it was possibly the biggest suit she had ever seen. The price wasn't particularly high, either. At this point, she guessed that the shop owners were just trying to get rid of the thing. She took it from the hanger, and brought it to the counter.
One purchase from two confused shop owners later, and she had obtained clothes for Heracles.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Outside the Church with Saber
Yuna said nothing more to Mike, just walking past.
Maybe we can catch the fight between those Servants, she thought to Saber. Do you have any idea where they went?
...Thanks for standing up for me.

"Just be careful in the future, please," Rachel replied, patting Jack on the head and pulling her close again, "I know that you didn't mean to do it." After all, why would the little girl intentionally dig into her injuries with all the affection she was displaying? Jack the Ripper wasn't known for subtlety, either; brutal murder was the order of the day, as was running away.
The Streets, Archwood City
Beside Chieko, Heracles materialised, resting one huge hand on her shoulder and holding out the other. It seemed that he wanted to get dressed here and now, since she had a complete suit, rather than spending any more time floating around as a spirit. He'd been dead for thousands of years; it made sense.
Nero — Outside the Church
"It was nothing, Praetor!" suddenly, Nero's face turned a bright red. She was being praised, by her Master, in the middle of the night. It was truly something she didn't expect. Her Master praised her! "Hm...", Saber stopped, one hand on her chin and one hand on the hilt of her strange, crimson blade.
On the way here I saw an empty field. That's the best place I can think of to have a fight., Saber thought, her hand leaving her chin.
Jeanne — The Church
"Ah, you weren't here when I introduced myself the first time. I am Jeanne de'Arc, the Chosen Knight of the Lord. You are Amelie Gregor Faust and this is Gretchen." Jeanne said, recalling the young magus' name and the name of the doll. She was famous knight of France that fought in the Hundred Years' War. Also known as the Maiden of Orleans. If Faust knew this, the little girl would no doubt continue to babble on to her.
Siegfried — The Field
Siegfried quickly performed a backward leap, avoiding the incoming lance. Rider was right, he could indeed use the lance to blow him to the ground. However, Saber wouldn't have it. There was no way he was going down in a single blow.
Balmung, now gripped at the hilt with two hands, raised up into the air and came down with blinding speed. It aimed to cut into Shapur's waist, to tear through it and sever it in two.

Inside the Church, with Faust
Hikaru nodded at the new information, but waited for Amalie—for Faust—to finish.
"My apologies, ma'm," she said quietly to Jeanne. "She's usually shy; I didn't expect her to start talking your ear off."
Although it was rather endearing.
With Nero
Yuna smiled at the blushing Servant.
"Alright then. Let's head that way," she said quietly, glancing behind her to see whether the other Master tried to follow her.
Anything else important? she thought to the other girl. I have more questions, actually. They're not important or anything, but...
She didn't even know what time period her Servant was from, if she was naturally eloquent or it was common where Saber had lived, or anything about what the other woman's life was like. It was an amazing opportunity...
And besides. Saber seemed like a good person. Yuna would be lying if she didn't admit that she liked having someone around to talk to.

"You... want to change... right here?" Chieko stared at the heroic spirit. He was so... whatever. Taking a deep breath, she offered the suit to him. "Fine, but find a dark place in the alleyway to change so you don't blind anyone."
Her temper had slipped through, and caused her to make that somewhat biting comment. But really, the only thing worse then an eight foot tall giant in a tunic getting spotted would be an eight foot tall naked giant getting spotted.
The Church
"... You're..." Faust's eyes widened with excitement. She was standing before Jeanne d'Arc, the saintly knight who had led an army at only fourteen. This was... so incredible... "Y-you're... you're really her... you're... I... can I have, um, one of those things, where you write your name down on something, and then give it to the person? That would just be... I've... I've met such a famous knight! I know, Gretchen, it's wonderful! She should write down two so you can have one, too! And then we can talk to her about lots of things, like fish, and, um... milk, and parties, and swordfights, and cake, and sweets, and chivalry, and so many things!"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Jeanne — The Church
"Do you mean an autograph?" despite being a figure of history, she knew exactly what Faust was talking about. "But I don't... hmm.. hold on, just a moment." Jeanne turned away and walked behind the church alter. She shuffled around and around and came back with a pen and paper. Fortunate for both Jeanne and Faust, there were still some supplies here even though the Church had been abandoned for some time. She kneeled down nearby and placed the paper onto a pew.
Her hand moved with grace across the loose sheet of paper. Her signature read—
Jeanne d'Arc
She signed another side of the paper in the same way and tore it in two. The young woman stood up from the floor and walked back over to Caster. "Here you are, Caster." she held out her hand which held two sheets of paper with her name on it. "This is what you requested, is it not?"
Nero — Outside the Church With Her Master
Nothing I recall, Praetor., Saber replied in full, her eyes locked on to the battle ahead. A fierce white light flickered and then died in the same instant. What was going on over there?
Saber only remained silent, for now, as she followed after her Master.
With Nero—The Field
Yuna nodded, jogging swiftly towards the flash. Her dark clothing helped conceal her movement, and no sooner had she reached the field that she jumped up into a nearby tree. A gust of wind both concealed the rustling and pushed her higher.
Saber. There's space next to me on the branch.
Dark eyes looked down on the battle between Servants. From her vantage point above, she noticed another Master and Servant in a rather...awkward position behind a bush. A small smirk lit up her face before she looked back down at the battle.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlNero — The Field
A space next to you?, Nero nodded quietly before letting the red sword vanish in a dim, red light. Hopefully no one noticed it. The young girl crouched to the ground before leaping up, high into the air. She landed rear first onto the ground. The entire motion was as elegant as you'd think from a small girl of her stature.
A show, just for the two of us, Praetor! Think of it!, the red Servant giggled to herself before criss-crossing her legs over one another. She clasped her hands onto her stomach, like the time when she as first summoned, and watched the battle from afar.
With Nero
Yuna smiled at her Servant's enthusiasm.
I don't think it's just for us, she replied, discreetly pointing a finger downwards to the bush where two figures were hidden.
...I could play something when we get home, I suppose, she mused thoughtfully, even as she gazed at the Servants.
A Saber and another Servant...maybe a Rider? I don't think that's a lance...wait. Another Saber? That's odd.
She glanced to the red-clad woman next to her.

"Waaah... thank you!" said Faust, eagerly. She tucked the first sheet of paper away, and then tucked the second into Gretchen's arm. In spite of the lack of any actual gripping, the doll didn't seem to drop the sheet of paper at all. Faust was ecstatic, to say the least. "Thank you! Thank you so much! I'm so glad, and so is Gretchen! I'm going to show my Master!"
Quickly, Faust turned and hurried over to her Master, pulling out the piece of paper. "I got her autograph!"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Inside the Church
Hikaru smiled down at Caster, ruffling her hair.
"Yeah, I saw. It's neat, isn't it? You thanked her, right?" she asked teasingly. She had heard the whole conversation.
"Hehe, sorry. I heard you thank her, Amalie. We can come back tomorrow if you want, assuming we aren't too busy or anything," she offered, extending a hand down to the younger-looking girl.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlNero — The Field — In a tree watching the fight
Another Saber?, she looked out at the combatants and, sure enough, one was wielding a large, glowing white blade. Nero traced back in her mind at who could hold such a weapon, and nothing came up. It was surely of holy origin, she knew that much. That is peculiar, Praetor.
Nero then took note of the two people, well, one person and Servant in the bush down there, watching the same fight they were. Aha, a Master and a Servant. That one is most certainly Caster! the Saber nodded to herself in self-assurance.
Watching the Fight
Yuna nodded.
We should go back and ask the Overseer about it once this fight is finished. More information is always useful.
She glanced down at Caster and her Master.
Hm. The fact that there are two Sabers implies that we don't actually have half the Grail War gathered in one place...that would be a bit much luck, I suppose. Nice job on the identification though, she added offhandedly.

"I'd love to come back and talk with her more!" said Faust, eagerly, tucking the paper away again. She reached up and took her Master's hand, clutching Gretchen to her chest again with her free hand. She looked over, back at Jeanne d'Arc over her shoulder. The shining, holy knight... how lovely it was to meet her! "Goodbye!"
She turned to face forward once more, smiling. This had gone far better then she imagined... there were few ways it could've gone better. And Faust was sure Gretchen had enjoyed it as well. But now, the importance of the Grail War returned to the forefront in her mind. Faust really did want to win, and even if she did want to keep coming back here... that wasn't the most important thing.

"Aaah..." Jack squeaked in joy as her head was pat, relieved that mother didn't hate her. She loved mother, after all. She didn't want to have to do that to her. With a tiny smile on her face, she grabbed Rachel's hand, far more gently this time.
"We... We will, mother," she said, as she quickened up her pace. Mother wanted to take her to this place, so she wanted to get there as quickly as possible. "We would never hurt mother, not as long as mother loved us, no. And mother loves us, so we will never hurt her."
Tammy
"Hmm...Well,Goshujin-Sama, if that Saber is as invulnerable as you say....Well, I'm betting on him. The armored guy looks tough, but he can't beat what he can't hurt, yes?"
Mike
Ow. Damn, that hurt. At least she left already.
...Heh. A wind-user,huh? More information. Always a good thing.
Whistling once more, Mike casually strode over to where his Servant was fighting.
"Oy! Superman! That's enough, we're leaving. We've done enough, no need to push our luck."
Wes
Wes heard Shapur's Master call out to him, signaling what would probably be the end of the fight. Shit!
"Tamamo, we gotta go! Now!" He should've seen this coming. But dammit was it the worst possible outcome! No one was eliminated, and on top of that, they had a limited window of time to return to base and prepare for Paul's inevitable assault. He knew every way in, meaning they couldn't rely on the apartment's defenses to protect them. Which meant unless they got there first, they were in deep shit.

Yuna looked down. It looked like the other Master/Servant duo was preparing to leave...
Saber, should we follow suit? They look to be in a hurry, she thought, shifting position so she would be able to jump down if needed.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlWes
"Wait what-" And suddenly they were off. The ground. Tamamo had leaped, carrying him off into the sky. Holy shit!
"T-T-Tamamo, what are you doing? The ground, Tamamo! The ground!" The aforementioned dirt rushed to meet them, and Tamamo met it with uncharacteristic grace, landing swiftly and immediately assuming a running position. This is where shit officially got real.
Most forget this, but Servant parameters are measured at multiple times peak human, starting at 10x and escalating by multiples of ten. With Tamamo's Agility stat of C, her top speed came out at 300 mph, 30x faster than a human runner. This basically put her on equal footing with a Chinese bullet train.
Needless to say, the trip was short.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialRider was able to see Sigurd's intent, a repeat of the previous attack and was quickly able to bring the shaft of his Maul to intercept the massive sword. Just moments after the block, Rider stepped inward and hooked Saber's leg with his own, relinquished his right arm from the maul to shove it into Sigurd's head then pushed down on his head and upper torso with all his might in an attempt at forcing the rival servant to the ground using leverage.
Shameless Self-promotion ho!

Seeing the light shining from the blade, Rider preemptively leaps to the side and only barely managed to be out of the beam's explosion radius, having been forced to charge into melee combat due to his lack of projectile weapons; Rider goes for a low sweeping strike of his maul, aiming for Sigurd's legs; even if he could not harm his foe, he could still force him to the ground.
A sword of immense power belonging to one that is not an accursed Knight... And definitely not a Roman since they're of the arrogant, outspoken sort...
