Issue 15:

14. Rookie Policewoman Kiruko-san
It turns out that, rather than ending, Medaka Box is starting a new arc.
Combined shipments for the first 5 volumes of High Kyū!! total 1.5 million. Would sound amazing if Assassination Classroom hadn't just recently surpassed 2 million with two volumes.
The next three issues will give Shokugeki no Sōma colour pages, though it was not said if any of these were cover pages.
It has been speculated that the reason for the existence of Jump Versus (which I explained last week) is because not a single one of Jump's recent successes have been combat-based.

◊ Seems Naoshi outright pointed out that the Nisekoi chapter had cameos from Koi no Kami-sama, one of his one-shots.
Anyone subscribed to the English magazine at any point between March 5th and April 5th gets free DLC

Shokugeki no Soma doing alright in ratings warms my heart. I love that manga! I just wish Bleach would end already so that new mangas worth a damn could enjoy its slot.
Anime-planet account http://www.anime-planet.com/users/BrainBlowI wonder when Kochikame will end. The author is about 61 years old, so with the new retirement age in Japan, he'll have four more years until he can retire, I guess, if he and WSJ will even WANT to have him retire.
And I hope now that it is pretty clear that Assassination Classroom has become decently popular and has reached its third volume that it will start to dive deeper with its current cast. I don't think there's enough development for the kids in the class.

One Piece is absent this week because Oda suddenly fell ill. But they'd already printed the To C before making the decision. As such, we know One Piece would have been in 5th, but I won't count it because no chapter is actually present. A one-shot titled "Akarui Hito" ran in its place.

Viz is touting this issue as being the first Shonen Jump cover ever to be completely guy-free. They're also running a contest for fanart involving Jump characters partying under the cherry blossoms.

It's 8 chapters previous to the rankings, right? So I think it would be Chapter 521
?
Why is both Naruto and One Piece absent?
What a freaking boring week...
Naruto is the only jump comic I read, I just like looking at the others rankings because the jump ranking system fascinates me .. also to see if Bleach ever gets canceled. (nothing against it just curiosity)

Well seeing as Bleach is in its final arc, its kinda too late for that. (but then again that didn't stop them from canning Shaman King....) dont really care about the series either way anymore though...
Anyways, new Beelzebub and Medaka Box will make up for no One Piece and Naruto this week for me.

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUBleach is in no danger of cancelation as things stand. There are three bottom feeder series cushioning things for the other series, and since they will likely be replaced by new bottom feeders once those three are cancelled. And even discounting all that, Medaka Box is in worse shape than Bleach.
Yes.
And if Twitter is any indication, Trigger and Edison will also be bottom-feeders (similar metrics gave away how poorly Barrage, Takama-ga-hara and Date-senpai would perform).
If Manage doesn't get axed in the next round, we may have another magico or ST&RS on out hands, lasting a year even while being at the bottom and selling poorly.

I am genuinely shocked that Nisekoi is doing so well in the English Shonen Jump.
