From one of Liefeld's tweets: "Editor pissing contests… No thxnjs."

Um. What does "njs" mean?

It means he types as well as he draws

I can explain "Smash". See, Liefeld used to draw Captain America, after the book was cancelled he didn't want to let all the drawings he had done go to waste. So he retooled the strips into "Fighting American" comics and I guess in one issue of Captain America, Steve would have fought the Hulk so Rob created "Smash".

[up]I thought Smash was a parody that somebody did of Liefeld's Captain Ersatz tendencies? It's an actual thing?

Nope, he's an actual character. A genuine Liefeld "creation".

Not only that, but apparantly he had quite a few series planned for Smash. According to this, he had at least nine different Smash books planned. Apparantly the angrier he gets, the bigger he gets.

Guess what, guys? It Got Worse. Much, much worse. Whatta douche. Yet another person that proves that age =/= maturity. He seems so desperate to prove himself an alpha male, it only emphasizes how he's obviously a beta male that draws like a half-blind ancient tortoise.

So if both DC and Marvel refuse to hire him what's he going to do?

The battle continues and Scott emerges as the clear winner, and not simply by virtue of not being Rob Liefeld.

I hadn't laughed in days. Thank you, Internet.

[up][up] Whatever he wants to. It's not like he has to worry about money.

I have to wonder, if Liefeld as bad at handling his money as he is at... pretty much everything else? I know he was in several scandals of supposedly swindling artists of their pay, but I don't know if he did that because of any actual financial issues of his own or not.

I don't think so. He'd have to have lost almost everything for any of that to make much difference. Didn't he mentor Pat Lee?

It's possible the other Image founders protected him from himself in which case he's only had five years to blow everything.

Say what you want about the man, but you've got to admit, this is actually kinda funny, even if he doesn't seem to know what the word "hipster" means.

Nice foot, Liefeld. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

[up][up] For hipster read small vocal minority of people. Because they are the only people who dislike Liefield's work. Same thing with Chuck Dixon.

He should put pouches on his characters' feet.

He drew the foot, but I can't help but notice that it overlaps the guy on the ground's shoulder in a way that makes no physical sense.

looking at that panel, I'm more impressed than ever by Wades prowess, having one legs that seems to be six inches shorter than the other must make being being a mercenary hard.

It's called positive reinforcement: applaud the man, for God's sake. Next, let's goad him into drawing someone with a structurally adequate spinal column.

Guess what? Rob Liefeld really, really wants to make a biopic about the founding of Image Comics. He's written a screenplay and everything. He wants to be played by Chris Pine (I could picture it) and Todd Mc Farlane to be played by Christian Bale (LOL, no. He can be Batman, but McFarlane? I dunno).

I wonder if the film will cover the time, he tried to drive Image into the ground with dodgy business deals and totally destroyed Valiant?

[up] I'd say Liefeld should be played by Seth Green, and Mc Farlane by Norm Mac Donald (okay, Norm Mac Donald may be a bit too old...)
