Actually the author Gabby Rivera's book Juliet Takes a Breathe kinda has some cheating & iffy relationship stuff like with America.

Context: MC has a GF before she heads to Portland & strikes up an attraction to a cute hipster librarian who shares the attraction causing a good deal of flirting.

Then the MC learns the concept of polygamy from her mentor who is in such a relationship & pretty much goes all "Oh yeah I can date my current GF & the cute librarian at the same time." So before & after the learning, she increasingly pursues to start a polygamous relationship before she lets her current girlfriend know her plans.

Now the girl does break up with her soon quickly after but it doesn't change the fact she was kinda cheating on her & she never realizes it.

That all sounds to me like we're supposed to see her as in the wrong. Like on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, when Rebecca thinks that polyamory is the solution to her problem. Or in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World when Scott technically cheats on Knives before breaking up with her and reveals it at the end.

I think. She does find out that her GF cheated on her with another girl so that could be karma.

Though even before that her girlfriend acted pretty distant especially she went to senators camp or something & when the MC later called her to go on a tirade about the Banana Republic being named banana republic after learning what the word means the GF goes "Yo, you chill. Its just a store that sells pretty good clothes, stop making a big deal outta things" which strains the relationship.

So I think we're supposed to see the GF as the wrong party especially after her mentor goes "Man she's a bitch".

I don't know it could be both.

I'm not sure it's actually about anyone being in the wrong. The impression I got from the book is basically People Are Messy.

Is Loki only five issues? I thought it was going to be an ongoing series?

Once again, Immortal Hulk rules:

IMMORTAL HULK #28
AL EWING (W) • JOE BENNETT (A) • Cover by ALEX ROSS
2020 VARIANT COVER BY DALE KEOWN
  • Are your children normal? Are they respectful of you and other approved authority figures? Do they have a poster of the Punisher on their wall?
  • Or are they angry and discourteous? Do they embrace difficult and/or dangerous concepts, such as protest and the environment? Do they stand with the Hulk?
  • Ask yourself: Are your children normal... or have they joined the TEEN BRIGADE?

Also, Faiza Hussain returns in Valkyrie: Jane Foster, so that's cool. And I might have to pick up Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda?

BLACK PANTHER AND THE AGENTS OF WAKANDA #4
JIM ZUB (W) • LAN MEDINA (A) • Cover by JORGE MOLINA
2020 VARIANT COVER BY PASQUAL FERRY
T’Challa and Okoye have assembled an eclectic team of spies, mercenaries, and super heroes who specialize in espionage, black-ops, and defense. These Agents of Wakanda must be ready for any threat to our planet...even if that threat is the Moon itself! What?! What kind of lunar-cy is this?! You must not miss - God Loves, Moon Kills!

A talking gorilla, a man in a loincloth, a famous socialite, a werewolf who can not control himself, the king of world power... [sarcasm]yes, the potential for espionage stories does not have limits.[sarcasm/]

[up]In practice it's less 'espionage', and more of the Avengers B-Team.

Also Wasp is very good at espionage.

Its because she can get very small.

There's more to espionage than mere eavesdropping.

Perhaps the most critical part of espionage is not being noticed while doing it. So probably not the best team composition for the job.

Kazar managed to infiltrate Atlantis without getting caught and also without oxygen

I don’t know how he did it but he did do it

So Kazar is so good at espionage that he breaks logic

I said "espionage stories", an off-screen Ass Pull does not count. And, considering that the war against Atlantis is still going on in Invaders, I doubt he was that useful anyway.

He gathered intel, like an espionage do.

That's not going to end the conflict by itself obviously. Not until someone kills Namor or gets him to chill the fuck out.

Kazar may be able to hold his breath for ten hours but not even he can get Namor to chill the fuck out.

Actually, that's not the "most critical part" of espionage. The most critical part is the ability to gather information — it doesn't matter if you get noticed or not. In fact, sometimes it's better that you got noticed. (Go watch some Burn Notice and you'll see that they don't make themselves invisible, they make themselves very visible to their targets in order to extract the information they need.)

Plus, the Agents of Wakanda include one former SHIELD agent, one Nazi-hunting scientist, one super strong and fast Native American, one Immortal Weapon, one alien scientist, one former astronaut who can transform into a werewolf, one man who was able to live and thrive among the deadliest of dinosaurs, one former hunter who has extensive experience and also looks like a gorilla, and one Avenger who also has extensive experience and can shrink really, really small.

Looking at all of that, they actually seem like the perfect type to be super spies.

I'm kind of disappointed that the Future Foundation is rehashing the death of the multiverse. I'm even more frustrated that the guys who write solicits spoiled the end of Issue 4 within the solicit.
