Squad Thanos: With this Infinity Gauntlet, I, Thanos, will rule the universe!
MCU Thanos: Might I make suggestion?
Marvel's teen heroes tend to always be in a tight spot. Aging them too much will make the older heroes seem too old. They're too old for Improbable Infant Survival. It's a good thing teen heroes are good cannon fodder.
Reptil did survived. He appeared in a cameo in a Iron Heart issue, if I recall, alongside Striker.
I’d prefer characters I like don’t become cannon fodder just so we can give the illusion of realism during over bloated events that I’m not going to read. I do worry which of the champions are on the chopping block now that their book was cancelled. Miles, Khamala, Riri, and maybe Nadia seem safe but for the characters who don’t have their own books who knows.
They’re definitely going to die
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's honestly pathetic that the teen heroes can get killed off with a near permanent death. Wallflower has been dead for over a decade.
You don't need new heroes! You've got Cyclops! He's still cool! He's not old! Because he was cool when I was a kid and if he was old then that would make ME old, and I'M NOT OLD! I'M NOT OLD!
My various fanfics. Why are you using the guy who’s constantly derided & villainized by various writers as an example?
Wolverine would be a better example since he’s constantly propped up as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."See, considering Logan can always slice his own bread, you undermined yourself there.
One Strip! One Strip! It's no wonder that Wolverine in the wrong hands can be considered a Marty Stu.
Funny, one of the reason’s I like Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men run so much is how sparingly he used Wolverine. Of the six or seven X-Men on that team, Logan was the least important to the plot and the most static as a character. He wasn’t the focus, or the key to the bad guy’s plan, or searching for ANSWERS ABOUT HIS PAST. He was just there to be part of the team and do cool stuff, but not in a way that drew focus away from other characters. He was strategically deployed.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]I mean, that's exactly what's happened isn't it?
While he still has his fans, a lot of long time comic readers are sick of Logan and wish he'd just die...putting him back in his original state from the All New, all Different, days before Frank Miller got his hands on him.
Because a character like Logan is very easy to misconstrue especially when he's made to look good at the expense of someone else.
It's the same thing with Batman; people became so obsessed with making him the biggest bad ass in existence that it soured a lot of people on him, who now want to shit on him at every opportunity.
One Strip! One Strip! Also X-Men Evolution made Logan tolerable due to not being the major focus on the show, and you said just another character and not the image of the show.
One of the many reasons that show is my favorite animated X-Men adaptation.
Holy fuck you guys, I dont know if its been said already, but in Brazil a major controversy has started due to a gay kiss on a Marvel Comic. Its been censored, I dont know how, but the story took an AWESOME turn and a Major Newspaper put the kiss ON THE FRONT PAGE.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Oh man, that's sweet. I've been following the story, which has been one turn after the other.
For those who don't know, on Friday the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro tried to "sweep" the Bienal do Livro, Brazil's biggest literary festival, for Avengers: The Children's Crusade, since it has a kiss between two gay characters (Wiccan and Hulkling) and is ostensibly aimed at children. There are no sex scenes, there is no nudity, it's one kiss, but apparently he was seized by Gay Panic and started saying "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" and sent the police to sweep the festival.
Except as soon as people heard about this all of the copies of the book sold out. Like, almost immediately. They could find any copies, because people had already bought them.
Of course, that didn't stop the Mayor from trying to sweep the festival for other comics with gay content. A judge ruled against him, but then another judge ruled in his favor (just for content aimed at children however), but now he's sent armed police to round up any LGBTQ+ books they can find.

The Streisand Effect strikes again!
Well someone’s not getting re-elected.
Even artist Jim Cheung had something to say about the controversy.

That's the thing, Wolverine is great when he's not treated as a Marty Stu.
That's clearly not true or he would have stayed dead. So it seems like it was a vocal minority that wanted him to just die, otherwise we'd still have Laura as Wolverine.
Though honestly having Old Man Logan around kinda undermined her tenure as Wolverine.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force""He was never cool when you were a kid." Speaking as a lifelong Cyclops fan who even liked him in the '90s cartoon . . . this is true. Scott has always been kind of a dork, even at his coolest. It's part of why I love him.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. They should just play him up like the dork he is. People find dorks endearing these days. I've seen it.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, Scott fans find him endearing because of that.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"
He didn't hero up enough it seems.
