I'm not sure if it would even be feasible, but what if, instead of a movie, they gave the X-Men a show on Disney Plus?

Exactly!
I feel like part of the problem with trying to make an X-Men movie, is that you are trying to force it into traditional linear movie structure, when it is fundamentally an ensemble piece.

At D23, it was announced that we would be getting a Moon Night, She Hulk, and Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel shows on Disney Plus!

I am still so excited about the Ms. Marvel series and the She-Hulk series. Can't believe I'm actually gonna have to get Disney+...
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.X-Men have to be in the movies. It's true that it's an ensemble piece but a lot of stuff that defined the X-Men are cinematic as hell. Stuff like X-Factor or New Mutants can go to Disney Plus (in fact I think that the New Mutants movie will be going to hulu, would be surprised/impressed if it's out in theaters).
The cover for Immortal Hulk 26 is gorgeous.
Alex Ross has mad amazing covers for this book.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"So random thought.
Lets say it absolutely had to happen. Lets say someone was gonna do it no matter what.
If you could choose how it would be started (without throwing the New Warriors under the bus), how would you guys do it?

One Strip! One Strip!Just using some nameless kid with too much power causing some rescue to go completely out of hand.
Hey, maybe that Alpha kid could cause it, acting recklessly.
Wake me up at your own risk.Didn't Alpha come out years later?
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Yeah, but his basic concept works for this kinda thing. A reckless kid with too much power tries to play hero and what would be a routine thing goes horribly wrong. Or the typical first meeting brawl does (although that'd make the event look dumber, really).
Still, it gets pretty dumb once it goes into an open fight instead of a debate.
Wake me up at your own risk. You could still say that the kid hero was trying to do the right thing. The New Warriors worked as a catalyst not just because they blew up Stamford, but also because they did so while filming a reality show.
Ultimate Secret WarsStill gets a lot of people killed. Which could make the focus about keeping some control on any wannabe hero appearing, without throwing anyone under the bus.
Wake me up at your own risk. You could have the kid doing a podcast too, to keep that reality tv show theme.
One Strip! One Strip!Podcasts are usually done indoors, though.
With the rise of vlogging, you could simply have that. It's not like we don't have precedent for stupid vloggers.
Have a Punisher like super hero cause collateral damage among a shit load of people in his/her attempt at stopping a villain. That way it gives justification (and better explanation) for the Superhero Registration Act, actually making the whole conflict more applicable in the long run, and makes me wanna believe that the pro side are indeed in the right as Millar intended (as long as shit like Ragnarok, the jailing of unregistered heroes, hiring of villains as personal bounty hunters, the false flag operation with Atlantis, etc does not happen).
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133I've got an idea how Civil War could have started:
So there was a Ghost Rider named Vengeance, right? He took his role as Spirit of Vengeance a bit too seriously, even for a Ghost Rider. (It doesn't even have to be the previous Vengeance, but say it's perhaps a new Vengeance.) So he's going after a criminal and that criminal, instead of stumbling upon a school or any children, stumbles upon a news broadcast. And Vengeance, in order to stop the criminal, unleashes his Penance Stare...and it just happens to be caught on camera and broadcast across people's television screens across the city.
It results in over fifty thousand people being hospitalized for PTSD and mental anguish. The sparks a backlash against pretty much all superheroes and a feeling that they need to be controlled by the government.

I just bought Marvel Comics #1000 digitally and man, it really is a love letter.
There are a lot of deep dives. In fact one of my favorite pages so far is Night Raven's page. The others are the ones for characters i already love, like the White Tiger page and the various Hulk pages(Different creators each, Special mention to PAD and Pak's pages).
And for you Young Avengers fans, i think you'll love their page.
That's all I'll say, i don't want to spoil anything specific.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I just caught up reading Daredevil. Man, Zdarsky is really good at writing the crime noir stuff. "No Devils, Only God" is just a great storyline, especially since Matt isn't being Daredevil in it.
The only issue I'm having is that a Daredevil mask is being passed around and so various other people are acting as Daredevil when they see fit and I would love it if we got to know them better. It appeared like that was happening in the first issue, but then it was left on the backburner.
Also, I like the new crime family and "Izzy" Libris, the head of the family, is really neat. The Kingpin going legit is pretty interesting, too.
He doesn't seem all that legit in other books though.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I’’m pretty sure an editor’s note in the ASM Free Comic Book Day issue that said that it took place before Daredevil 601 or something, at least.

I'm not talking about the New comic book day issue, I'm talking about recent comics.
Outside of Daredevil, he's the same old Fisk.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"
I don't think they have a choice honestly. As you said, Jackman is gonna be a pretty Tough Act to Follow. I agree that for their first MCU foray, Logan has to be left out in the cold. We've had him for twenty years. Time he got a rest.
One Strip! One Strip!
