Interestingly in some of Jim Starlin's more recent stuff (before he left Marvel entirely) he started calling the MU's supreme being "the Above-All-Others." Probably because there's another character called the One-Above-All, the Celestials' leader.

This is, like, the third time that he's escaped from Hell.◊

Those creepy, close-up shots of Sasquatch's tongue licking his bloodied mouth and fangs made me think that he might have cannibalized the hospital victims.

So they're implying that Danielle isn't Luke's, but a Child Of Rape of Jessica by Purple Man? I have to say I hope they don't use this to split Jessica and Luke up. They're Bendis' favorite couple, and I could absolutely see at least some people at Marvel being petty enough to torpedo his premiere ship as a revenge-killing for leaving for DC.

It probably just has something to do with that weird artifact thing that She-Hulk gave Dani. Jen said it was nothing, but Thor freaked out over it and said that it could summon trickster Gods.

Kelly Thompson is absolutely not the type to go that route. And I don't believe anyone at Marvel would try to force her to do it. And Thompson has said on Twitter that it'll all be OK, while apologizing for how long it'll take for the cliffhanger to be resolved, since it was written before she knew how they were handling the digital comics.

Good to hear.

Bendis handpicked Thompson to take over Jessica Jones so I don't think she would do anything like that with the character. And yeah, I didn't think it would be a case of the Purple Man being Danielle's father, but something else considering she's still half-black.

Storm and Thor's daughter is gorgeous and I want one.

I would have much rather had her than synergy valk.

So I've been reading some of the MC 2 stuff, and I have to confess, I'm not loving it. The throwback writing style, in addition to just not being to my taste, also feels out of place with the concept. It should read as contemporary and cool, but instead, it comes across as old dudes writing what they think hip young people are like. It feels forced, at least to me.

It's disappointing, because I was looking forward to reading the MC 2 stuff. But it's just not working for me.

God Fucking Dammit! That would of been a great idea. I think I can speak for all the perverts on the internet who are into women of that stature (looking at you Ono, director of all recent Street Fighter games) that she got a good (thicc) design.

Plus, now that I think about, Valk’s whole character in Exile does come off as a composite of Storm and Thor.

MC 2>Modern Comics for me. Frankly, I'm pushing 37 and I don't want to be in touch with the brats of the current year generation, so the old-school style works just fine.

Helps Spider-Girl is the perfect ending/epilogue for my favourite super hero's story too.

Cause Kurt's teleporting and Matt's Radar Sense would be a pretty powerful combo considering Kurt's limitation of needed to see where he's going (which Matt would let him do).

I think they met during Evil That Men Do.

Yeah. I did catch that briefly when Scans Daily was posting scenes from that Comic, but I'm not clear how involved Kurt was in the plot besides dropping some apparently exposition about Teleporting.

OMD didn't happen in the MC 2 universe. That already makes it better than the main MU. Same goes for Marvel Adventures and All-Ages.

Carol gets her 5 billionith #1, this time Kelly Thompson writing and Carmen Carnero on pencils. And it's looking like they're abandoning her being a cosmic hero for now. And as much as I want Kelly Thompson to write all of the things, I was liking what Margaret Stohl was doing. I hope she gets another book.

I've been saying for a while that Kelly Thompson should write Captain Marvel. It took until Life of for Stohl's run to really work for me. Also, Carnero and Bonvillain on art means an all-female creative team, which is pretty great to see on Captain Marvel.

Death of the Inhumans #4 is out, and it turns out that all the inhumans that have died so far, are not really dead, but transported to a lab. Don't you feel cheated?

I don't feel cheated or even the slightest bit surprised.

Honestly I'd have been more interested in the book if that premise had been made known to the reader a whole lot earlier.

Maybe that's just an issue for writing for the trade.
