Regarding pronouns, I always thought that V was just going to be referred to as "V" all they way through. For one, that'd save on recording for each voice style.
Also, seeing how you can seemingly chop and change loads about your character, I think they've made a fair amount of progress. Maybe not quite enough but they are pushing forwards, keeping the Cyberpunk feel, the dystopic and exploitative attitude towards EVERYTHING being marketable and also trying to get a decent amount of representation going there.
We won't be able to effectively judge to see if that's consistent of course until we get our hands on the game.
Also, Skill Up seems... genuinely in awe of the game. Watching it, i can see melee looks a bit off, but gunplay seems pretty darn good. And if it keeps that fidelity all the way through the game then DAMN. Deus Ex needs to up its game. BETHESDA need to up their game.
Everyone needs to up their game.
I have faith their narrative and treatment will do it all justice. CDPR have grown since the whole "Sex trading cards" of Witcher 1, giving some good representation and allegorical ties in W2 and W3. Theydo gritty but they do gritty with purpose, not just GOT nastiness for shock value.

You are not alone.Might be of interest, Dark Horse is publishing a prequel comic
, Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team
Pretty sure this isn't the Trauma Team
I was supposed to think of.
rollin' on dubs
There was Trauma Team and REO Meatwagon. With REO Meatwagon being the cheap one that may not get your character out.
Trauma Team will get you out of a jam - if shooting their way out counts as a rescue.
I wonder if REO Meatwagon will be in the game - given that they were less Gunship Rescue and more Keystone cops.
I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....Did you catch the Witcher shout-out in the Street Kid introductory quest? The car you're supposed to steal is called Aerondight, after the unique sword from the games.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisSo which one of the Life Paths will YOU pick for your first playthrough?
I for one think I will take the Street Kid. I'm not playing no Corporate dirtbag
And while Nomad sounds interesting too, Street Kid sounds a wee bit more exciting.

Nomad has a stranger coming to a new world/fish out of water feel to it which I kinda like the feeling for. I'm kinda curious what they'll do with the whole wastelands areas and this Javert that's apparently after you. Being new to the city, a survivor of the wastes, and coming to fuck everyone's shit up feels good.
I like the idea of the Corpo who lives the high life, falls from grace as a scape goat, and then will burn the city as they rise from the ashes. It also still has that 'fish out of water' flavor if just also looking at the same world from a new angle. There's also the nice character shift of being forced to confront the system that they were complicit in and that's already a hook for character growth.
Streetkid... I'm not a huge fan of. It doesn't quite feel like it has the same identity in my mind as the others. It feels like you're already 'there' compared to the other two and I don't quite see as much of a character or developmental hook as the other two.
Just my personal tastes though.

Sounds like the game's gonna be packed. I only kinda wish there was a companion system too, but I suppose CDPR doesn't really do Bioware or Fallout-style party RP Gs.
