Either a mutation due to it traveling (only one Abyssal essence fell into the Wo D) through the Abyss/Oblivion (which are the same thing) which allows it to meld into a person's soul and blood and pass along that way, or the Wo D's version of Primordials (which I will have) toyed with it (because there is an equivalent of a Primordial war) which does the same thing. I have not decided yet.

I am currently writing up a campaign that crosses over the two settings, basically I want an Exalted with a urban fantasy setting rather than wuxia/anime.
Just in case I have RL friends who look at the forums: The gist of it is that vampires are actually created when an Abyssal Essence, which was twisted by the Abyss, fell into the Wo D world and corrupted a human's soul. Due to the influence of the Abyss and reality trying to suppress its powers, it became the vampiric corruption of the soul that we all know in Vampire The Requiem, except that the suppression isn't entirely successful and Golconda is actually what happens when a vampire "awakens" to become an Abyssal/Solar Exalted. The theme is about redemption and atonement and realising your destiny (of a punching out stuff variety). The Neverborn and other Eldritch Abomination are going to be part of the antagonists.
So questions are: is it even a good idea and should I run with it? Thanks!
