Image added without discussion, JAFAAC, and poor quality.

Any better suggestions?

Motion to pull

Shows nothing on the trope.

...Is that supposed to be a gun behind him or something? I can't see...

And pulled.

[up] It's the piece of glass he uses to take an officer hostage.

Pulled image for reference:

How will The Joker get out of this one? Well, note the glass shard in the top-right corner...

I can't think of anything good for a signature.

I don't see a way we could pic this succinctly...anyone got ideas?

I thought there was a picture of a wall full of guns on this once.

Have a picture of a shotgun at the top of the page, and have a picture of one firing at the bottom, perhaps even hidden in a folder?

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

It's not completely JAFAAC — the caption explains how it's an example — but it definitely fails at illustrating the "gets used later" part. In image should illustrate the entirety of the trope (in spirit if not letter), not just one part.

Something like this would be good:

[panel where the Gun first innocently appears]

[panel: "N pages/strips later"]

[panel where the Gun gets Fired]

For instance, the first panel could (hypothetically) be that pulled image with the shard, and the third panel would show how the shard was used by Joker.

There has to be a clean shot of the Joker looking at the cop with that shard in the picture...if we can find a clean screencap of him using it on the cop, pairing the two or having a two-part image should work.

The pic would have to be at least a little less blurry.

Are there any images of Anton Chekhov with a firearm?

^ That is a different trope, see Chekovs Gun.

Although Pavel Chekov is played by an Anton Yelchin in the newest film...

Pavel Yelchin?

Anyway, there aren't, but I'm wondering if it could be Photoshopped into one of the images of him available on GIS. Like this one.

I don't think that would be better than no image.

I like with the suggestion to have a two-part version of the Joker picture. Like everyone's said, it would need to be clearer.

Why not something about the 4 White Mages from 8-bit theatre? The party of white mages isn't important until the last three strips of the comic.

They don't show up until the last few strips of the comic. It's more of an example of Brick Joke, anyway ("Four white mages? It would never work").

How's this? I had a devil of a time trying to get a good pic after he gets the phone that wasn't too blurred and gave up...no hi-def vids of that scene to use.

That's okay. Would it be possible to highlight the shard in some way?

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
