Ah, so a visit to the future is imminent. I thought so.
Two weeks, eh? Looking forward to it.

Oh God! Natural light!I thought that this was a pretty good episode. I never would have guessed that Mc Gucket caused his own insanity.
Mc Gucket's montage was sad, terrifying, and (during one small portion) funny. GREAT episode, but I was a bit annoyed about Wendy and Mabel staying there. I suppose it did further her plot.
"GIDEON'S TANTRUMS, MISSPELLED TATTOOS, SHANDRA'S REJECTIONS, SOCIETY'S VIEWS, A FEAR OF WITCHES, A LIFE OF REGRET, THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT THEY TRY TO FORGET."
Hmm...
Oh God! Natural light!
Those must be what the Blind eye wanted to forget.Who's could be the last 3 be?
Never mind.Society's views must be woodpecker guy and the fear of witches must be the guy who gave Mabel her pig.Blind Ivan must be the last one. What could've happened to him that gave him a "Life of Regret"?(Watch the tattoo's one be Ivan's and the life of regret be the bouncer guy with tattoos.

I have a feeling that "society's views" is the guy who married the parrot. Your guess is as good as mine, though.
Edit: What about that one lady?
Another thing from the wiki: "The Journal entry on The Blind Eye has a symbol cipher that reads, "IF MY SUSPICIONS ARE CORRECT, THIS IS THE WORK OF FIDDLEFORD. DOES HE REALLY HAVE TO GO TO SUCH GREAT LENGTHS TO FORGET?""
The author apparently knew about the Society, whoever they were... Of course, the fact that it was in the Journal to begin with suggests as much.

Oh God! Natural light!Apparently Darth Maul/Peace Master from Adventure Time played Ivan. Thought it was Patrick Stewart until I looked it up.
so many spoilers. I need to watch this pronto.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI have no idea how to do spoiler tags, but that was such a cool episode. I loved the expansion of the lore, the character interactions, and the running gag with the goofy rap song. Very excited to see what comes next!
My Fanfiction Account | Kingdom Hearts: The Antipode seriesIf using the gun too much leads to madness, than Gideon's mom might be the one forgetting the tantrums. "Just keep vacuuming..."
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Anybody else think all these references to Mermando recently mean that he's part of the bigger picture? I mean, there were a lot of references to past supernatural characters, but Mermando was also mentioned in the Sock Opera episode and they brought up the fact that he's being forced into an arranged marriage. So there's almost definitely going to be an episode about the Manatee Queen, but there might also be something related to the portal.

After all these references, yeah, I'll think he'll come back.

According to the wiki, Mrs. Gleeful is on the list of people who have had their memories erased. Apparently Pacifica is too, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she forgot about "The Golf Wars".
Ooh man, what an episode. I mean, as I suspected they didn't say who wrote it, but it fills in a bunch of blanks.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectAlso, I had this pointed out, but it must have killed Mc Gucket's son to see his dad go insane.
No wonder they have that strained relationship.

x5 Wikipedia attributes the episode to Matt Chapman & Alex Hirsch.
EDIT: Oh you meant the journal never mind

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Damn, what an amazing episode.
When the teaser for the episode specifically mentioned Fiddleforth as a possible identity of the author, I knew that he'd be a Red Herring, but then again, he proved to be part of the backstory. This means that the author doesn't need to have technical prowess as previously thought. Glad to see I wasn't the only person to notice similarities between Simon and McGucket.
Finally, there was a vial of memories from Preston Northwest on the Altar next to McGucket's. Do you think it was also tripwired, and more importantly, will it contain information as crucial as the one we saw?

It might be worth going back through the Hall of the Forgotten and searching through the other memories. I wonder if there's a way to return them to those that have lost them. Mc Gucket seems to be getting his back, and even started to remember things after merely seeing the Society's symbol. It's a good plot for a later episode.
I also couldn't help noticing that they held onto the amnesia ray. Maybe that could factor into the above, or perhaps something else...

Oh God! Natural light!

I really hope Stan won't be the true big bad of the series.
