Ya, Cganale's hatred of Glemy Toto and all not-Puru-related things ZZ is almost a thing of legend over at the Dynasty Warriors Gundam thread. Or at least, I consider it to be legendary.
Cganale: Okay, that's great - really, it is - but does it have H/Allelujah and Lockon? Honestly, I wouldn't really care one way or the other if Vowels and the Thrones are in it, but I still want non-DLC Lockon and H/Allelujah.
Only two immediate problems with doing that, though: 1) in my viewing of ZZ, the Purus haven't shown up yet (when does Puru appear, btw?), and 2) I've only actually seen the first episode of SEED Destiny, and only the first 3-4 eps of the original SEED. Although for SEED, I have Super Robot Wars J helping me out.
Puru appears at the end of episode 17 (causing a Mass "Oh, Crap!" in the cast when they see the Qubeley and think it's Haman, followed by her disarming two opponents with a single shot each) and gets a speaking role in the next episode. Puru Two appears as a Human Popsicle in ep 32 and gets a speaking role in ep 36. I was kinda surprised but Puru Two actually spends the first few minutes of her screentime butt-naked and not at all censored. I mean, it wasn't a first time a female in the franchise got naked on-screen (I seem to recall both Zeta and the compilation movies of the original series showing nipples) but someone who's barely more than a child?
I wonder if that's what got people sexualizing the Purus... or Glemy's reputation as a pedo, seeing that he never averts his eyes from her during the whole scene. Then there's Puru's unhealthy fixation on baths and habit of gleefully running around the palace of Neo-Zeon's leadership in her underwear
.

.... why would anybody want to sexualize the Purus? They do just fine as the resident Little Miss Badass Adorables. They're like The Powerpuff Girls of mecha; let them be epic on their own terms.
... Okay, since ZZ came out first, the PPG are more like the Purus of Western Animation, but whatever.

It's probably because of the Purus' sexualization that Unicorn pulled out Marida/Puru Twelve's canonical backstory of getting sold into prostitution immediately after the events of ZZ, complete with multiple abortions, surgical removal of her entire girl-plumbing (with the doctor performing the operation even remarking on how young she is!) and being Covered with Scars from the years of abuse she endured from her clients and pimp - and it's not just offscreen material, we actually get a flashback of Marida experiencing these from first person.
That's how you kill the appetite of a lolicon - and that's how you make the viewer want to just hug her in sorrow over how much she had suffered. The latter is why Marida is one of my favorite female characters from the franchise: the sheer amount of suffering she had went through is more than anyone else in the franchise, yet she still has the strength to stand and continue living, even encouraging others not to give up.

Speaking of things ZZ related, I found and read the Gundam/Ideon crossover manga the other day. It was all moonrunes so I couldn't understand a thing of what was said, but HOLY SHIT IDEON JUST DEALT GRIEVOUS HARM WITH A BIG ZAM!
Given how much DWG has made me hate the Big Zam , I loved seeing that.
Marida is cool, to be sure, but my favorite female Gundam character will always be Allenby Beardsley. Although DWG is giving a lot of great PR for Puru and Puru Two.

Big Zam is a JOKE in DWG. It has no funnels like the Alpha Aziel, it has no Angst Nuke like the Psycho Gundams and it has no pseudo-invincibility like the Devil Gundam. Compared to these, the Big Zam is a pushover because its attacks are easy to avoid.
Is that the manga where Amuro and Judau double-pilot a Super Robot Gundam capable of Detachment Combat via Calling Your Attacks?
1) Big Zam is just a personal headache of mine, although I recently managed to punch it out with Lacus Clyne ridiculously easily in her Relationship mission. With Lacus being at level 1 btw, although I believe her Infinite Justice was made using rank 3 or possibly even rank 4 plans. 2) I find the Psyco Gundams to be a lot easier for some reason, although Puru Two's Quin Mansa (or whatever it's called) is probably my favorite Mobile Armor to have to fight. 3) I don't think I've ever fought an Alpha Aziel.
It does feature Amuro and Judau copiloting a Gundam that looks like the ZZ (and if I'm not wrong is called Mega-Zeta), though because I can't read Japanese I can't comment on the rest of that, and I don't particularly recall if it engaged in Detachment Combat. I do recall that there was some girl inside the Ideon that possibly induced a Dulcinea Effect in Judau, and he had a 'Newtype Reveal Handshake' (don't know what else to call it, though it might've just been a simple visual Call-Back) with her just like he did with Amuro toward the very start of the oneshot.
My personal best achievement was killing the Devil Gundam on Soldiers' Battlefield 4 with Kira in a GM Command. Don't ask me how I did it, cause I have NO idea - and I failed to replicate the feat with Shinn in a Hizack, mostly because that dumbass Yazan keeps charging the sucker when it gets low on health and starts spamming that area-of-effect Beam Spam attack.
I seem to remember something about the Mega-Zeta having Zeong-style detachable hands which Amuro summons by yelling PSYCOMMU ARM!!!. Apparently, Judau is kinda incredulous.
... Holy shit.
Again, because I can't read Japanese, I have no idea if it involved any attack-calling or not. I also don't recall if the Mega-Zeta ever used that sort of a rocket punch, either. Ideon pwning Big Zam is the only thing I can concretely remember, other than Judau trying to infiltrate the Ideon and save that girl, even as the Ideon is doing seemingly everything in its power to kill him.
If that Holy Shit was for the GM Command stunt, I forgot to mention that it was on Hard difficulty and the GM Command's parts weren't maxed out yet.
Also on Hard difficulty, I managed to win the Ball Is Your Friend mission which sees you taking out the Alpha Aziel with a Ball. It was actually easier than the Devil Gundam one, if only because the Ball is a speedy little bugger. I have to say, Shiro Amada had the right idea there...

Yep. The boost simply relates to what sort of suit you're piloting. Level 3 suits (like the Zaku) get the biggest boost, whilst Level 2 suits (like the Palace Athene) get a smaller one. With that, it's pretty easy to fly in a Jegan and pull an Aila on the Devil Gundam.

Aww, but it's much more fun that way!
I actually started a game session specifically for playing on Hard mode all the time and that particular save has over 150 hours of logged gameplay time now. Only the top-tier missions (everything in the Extra category) are Nintendo Hard; the rest are very good training.

Depends on the mission and the game. Soldier's Battlefield in DWG 2 doesn't allow anything other than G Ms, Ball, Zaku, Zaku Tank, Hizack or Gaza C. Hell, it doesn't even allow the Dom or the Geara Doga, despite the former being a tier 3 and the latter sharing the Zaku/Hizack moveset. And you're supposed to kill the Devil Gundam with these, while keeping Yazan alive. Nintendo Hard, I tell you. Forums say one possible solution is to take Ace Pilot and rack up a bodycount in the high hundreds before engaging the Devil Gundam - but doing so risks you entering the battle already low on health.

I figured, but I don't tag it when I comically miss the point, because that...well, it comically misses the point.
Nous restons ici.
