Went there last year as part of Model UN. As far as living is concerned, this is not my first choice, but it's a lovely place to visit. Spent a full week in Manhattan aside from a brief visit to Brooklyn for a midnight crossing of the Brooklyn Bridge. Also, no New York trip is complete without sampling the street fares, which I recall having spent a good amount of money on.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.

I wish I could visit New York again. Big cities are exciting to me, and i prefer the arcitectecture over suburban/old town places.
Like I said, I only got to go to New York once, when I was four, I think. It was to visit my now late aunt, so I didnt really get to walk around much.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.

So, I'm in New York on vacation (And to see last night's Florence+The Machine concert, which was amazing) and this is just... the best city.
I don't care that it's full of crime, and dirt, and roaches, and bums. This city is amazing. The lights, the food (granted, most of it will give me food poisoning, but it's totally worth it) the buildings, everything.
