This thread is for cleaning up pages that violate the No Lewdness, No Prudishness policy.
Do not use this thread for reporting pages that need to be cut for violating The Content Policy. Report pages that appear too lewd or gushy to have on the wiki using the "Report Page" button on the sidebar, with the checkbox saying "The page may violate the Content Policy" checked. That will create a thread on the Content Violation Discussions subforum
. The thread will be opened by a mod if the report is valid, and if it's deemed necessary, the page will be cleaned according to the Content Policy. (The list of pages that were deemed problematic can be found on The Content Policy's page.)
No Lewdness:
"Lewdness" is more than just being about something sexual or potentially sexual. Here are some signs of lewd writing:
- Personal opinions on hotness. Examples should stand on their own without the introduction of YMMV material. Adding your own thoughts and feelings on an example is an opinion, same as calling an example good or bad. Don't do it. Don't try and extend your feelings to a larger group of fans either, e.g. "...and fangirls everywhere rejoiced". You're not fooling anyone.
- Overly detailed examples. The example doesn't need to be an exact sensory account of the event. Too much of that and you end up sounding like you're writing porn. When in doubt, drop a few adjectives.
- Unrelated fanservice mentions. If the hot bits aren't related to the example, they don't belong in the example.
- Pornographic writing. If you're writing porn, it should be somewhere other than the wiki. Keep it Family Friendly.
- Titillation links. Tell, don't show. We don't need screen shots to illustrate NSFW Fanservice. If a reader is really curious, they can go look it up on Google. (See also Weblinks Are Not Examples.)
- Pedo gushing. We don't need to describe children sexually. This should be cut immediately. We're not interested in hosting pedophilia fantasies. Period. If a work contains children having sex, even if portrayed negatively, report it as a potential violation of The Content Policy using the "Report Page" button
◊ in the sidebar.
- Talking about actors instead of characters. An actor is not the character they play. When you're writing an example about a work, refer to the character, not the actor. This applies to non-sexual references, but too often it's tropers writing about how they find certain actors hot. That doesn't fit in character examples.
- Thinking a page with a Not Safe for Work subject is license to be lewd. Even when we discuss porn, we are about just stating the facts.
- Fanfic Recs for underage sex. We will not host any recommendation for fics that have explicit sex involving people apparently or actually younger than 16. Period. We categorically do not recommend fics with sex in which at least one participant:
- This applies even if all parties are underage.
No Prudishness:
- Don't cutlist or gut pages just because they're about sexual topics. Sex exists. It's used in media a lot. You'll just need to cope with that fact. Relationships, fanservice, and sexual activity all fall into their own tropes as a result.
- Don't be a Bluenose Bowdlerizer. We're not looking to censor all sex off the wiki. If the sex and sexuality is an honest part of the work and relevant to the example, it belongs there.
- The wiki is not rated G. We aren't sanitizing the wiki for small children. Sex and sexuality are part of media and we aren't going to ignore them. This wiki is Family Friendly, not Unsupervised Small Child Friendly. This isn't an excuse to make work pages dirtier than the work itself, as the above No Lewdness section makes clear, but neither is it an excuse to make those pages cleaner than the work itself.

Alleged Number1KirbyFan
As I was cutting Lust Object's scanlation links, I noticed some of the examples in the anime and manga section are kinda sleazy-sounding.
I'm not N1KF but I agree that a lot of them are super questionable and picked some out:
- Girls Bravo: Though Kirie's 16, she's already stacked and has a killer bod. So much so, that one episode showed she can't even walk down the street without being mobbed by middle-aged men asking her out; much to her chagrin. Not to mention, Fukuyama, Kosame, and Hijiri, all want to get into her pants—with Kosame being the most persistent and the one who comes closest to succeeding. She even manages to steal Kirie's First Kiss.
- Queen's Blade presents a lesbian incest example, which has Elina lusting after her two older sisters: Leina and Claudette:
- The series does everything short of outright stating that Elina wants to scissor Leina, who's well aware of her younger sister's lust for her. As they grew older, Leina began to see her advances as improper and was put-off by it; which was part of the reason she eventually ran away from home. Oddly enough, she still indulges Elina on occasion, such as the 9th episode of season 2, where Leina spent the night spooning with her, in the nude.
- To a lesser extent, Elina secretly desires her eldest sister as well, but hides these feelings due to her attraction to Leina. Though chapter 20 of "Hide & Seek" showed her drooling while fantasizing about cuddling in bed with Claudette. Eight chapters later, she learned that the feeling was mutual and that Leina supported the idea of her and Claudette being together.
- Shimoneta: Anna's had it bad for Tanukichi ever since he accidentally kissed her, which set off her pent-up hormones like an "ON" switch. Since then, she hasn't been shy about what she wants from him, from mailing him envelopes filled with her vaginal fluid, to trying to rape him near the end of episode 4.
- So I Cant Play H:
- For Ryosuke, Lisara fuels his fetishes because she epitomizes all four of his favorite kinksnote . In the first episode, she knocks him down after catching him trying to peep on her in the furo. Instead of getting up, he takes the opportunity to stare up her shirt and compliments the shapeliness of her legs. But she shuts him up when he also says he can see her "red threads" (i.e. her pubic hair)!
- All the male students at Momozono High have the hots for Iria, because she's a blonde babe with a bangin' hot bod. Which is also the reason the Merlot Insurance company features her in all of their ads - while wearing string bikinis.
- Star Ocean: Till the End of Time: In the manga adaptation, Nel must be the hottest woman on Elicoor II, since just about anyone she meets either hits on her, or tries to rape her.
- Cliff repeatedly looks up her skirt and hits on her every chance he gets. At one point, he flat-out out told her that he wanted to sleep with her.
- She was nearly raped twice, while trying to rescue her two subordinates, Tynave and Farleen, from the Kirlsa Training Facility. She escaped the first one on her own, but got cornered again moments later and would've been gangraped, had Fayt and Cliff not been there.
- Roger has the hots for her too and grabs her butt the moment she releases him from his cage. From then on, he addresses her as, "Onee-sama" and does whatever she says question.
- The Testament Of Sister New Devil: Inverted example. The light novel explains that Chisato's hidden desire is to become her 17-year old nephew, Basara's Sex Slave, She eventually gets her wish during the final volume after Basara spends an entire "year" repeatedly having sex with her to make her submit to him. When he finally succeeds, the novel says Chisato derives sexual gratification from knowing she's his property and that she now exists solely for his pleasure.
- Tokyo Ghoul: Mutsuki is a Covered in Scars trans male (pre op) who attracts the sexual interest of Serial Killer Torso to the point of masturbation and sexual assault. He feels he is Entitled to Have You in regards to Mutsuki and misgenders him as a female Lust Object.
- Rito from To Love Ru is a male example. All the girls love him, but some of them have also a sexual desire. Especially Momo. She often sneaks into his room and enjoys it when he "plays" with her body while he is sleeping.
Most of these were also in a row back-to-back.
In general a few of them go in to too much detail over what the lust-er does and call me a prude but to me at least there's this kind of vibe of playing off sexual harassment/assault as "Just this casual thing characters do" like it's barely a big deal.
I made my username back in 2009 when I had no idea how capitalization/camel case worked. That's why it's in all lower case.Okay, so...was looking at NightmareFuel.Vocaloid while planning to write up some entries, and...(spoilered due to some pretty squicky content):
- "SHOTA=RELEASE", sung by Len. It tells the story of a boy who has fallen in love with an older man. The story is mostly told in the present, where Len is doing...something in a dark, quiet room. It quickly gets creepier when he makes mention of his lover's significant other, musing that she's in the way, and then cuts back to the present. It turns out that he's having sex with the older man and makes mention of wanting the man to rape him.
- You don't see any of it, though. Just the room, and Len's changing expressions.
What the hell is this? Not only is Len pretty clearly shown to be a minor, but the song itself seems to glorify their relationship and the act more than not.

How's your day been?Just done so. Honestly, P5 stuff aside, that page needs some serious revamping...
How's your day been?Already mentioned in the Ho Yay cleanup thread, but HoYay.Channel Awesome has a lot of gushy commentary that veers into blatant fetishism. Not just typical shipping Squee, that's all fine and good, but a lot of gushing about Black Comedy Rape as something sexy, as well as gushing about supposed sexual subtext between real people. I feel unclean reading it all...
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Is it just me, or is this entry on BoundAndGagged.Web Original a bit lewd, on top of being a general example and likely complaining as well?
- Think of your favourite animated female character. Whoever it is, anyone from Mikuru Asahina to Erin Esurance, someone out there is drawing pictures of her tied up, and likely posting them on DeviantArt.

It's a general example that's more applicable to Rule 34 than Bound and Gagged. I'd remove it.

Whose favorite animated character is Erin Esurance?

Apparently, a lot of people, if this article is anything to go by:
Esurance Axes Erin After the Secret Agent Took on an X-Rated Life of Her Own

Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesThe only thing Esurance did wrong was forget that attractive animated woman plus the Internet will almost always equal porn.
Get taxed. Idiot.Yeah, I know she was a favorite for rule 34, but I was joking about the "favorite animated character" part.

i really hope TV as a whole learned a lesson about shows based on advertising from Cavemen...
anyway yeah that example is absolutely inappropriate.
This example is from LGBTFanbase.WesternAnimation:
- Goof Troop: Oh Pete, you sexy beast. Rule 34 of him (sometimes even paired with PJ) occasionally pops up.
As it stands, this has little to do with the character (or show) attracting an LGBT Fanbase, and seems overly gushy in all the wrong ways, considering that it mentions incest porn of a kid's show with anthropomorphic animals.

Wow, talk about having a persistent agenda.
