Let's see here...I have:
- Jack Owen - former Cannibal Corpse guitarist
- Frank Mullen - vocalist for Suffocation
- Lars Ulrich - drummer for Metallica
Robert "Gotobed" Grey of Wire.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Michael Stipe is the first example I could think of for whatever reason. this
◊ is the most hair a half-assed google image search demonstrates him as having at one point, as compared to the R.E.M. trope page image.
Pretty much anyone who was ever a member of Genesis, with the exception of Tony Banks. All right, maybe just Phil and Peter (who looks more like Uncle Fester with each passing day).
Jordan Rudess. Joe Satriani. The aforementioned Devin Townsend. Three of my all-time favourite musicians, actually - I think baldness and musical genius have a correlation.
Though I generally prefer the younger look, I'm obssessed with human aging and growth so I think it's cool when musicians look way different from their younger selves.

Johan Edlund from Tiamat. He's had a shaven head for more than ten years now. Probably due to hair loss, it gets noticeable in their early music videos.
Please don't feed the trolls!Err they don't have to adjust. Ronnie James Dio's hairline receded noticeably in his later years, but he kept it long.
First Off: Never Speak Ill of the Dead
Also, at first I thought you where making fun of Oasis. But then I did a google image search and saw that both of the Gallagher brothers have a full head of hair. Who are you talking about?
Eta: You try looking this badass

Much respect & affection to RJD, qui requiescat. However, when someone holds him up as an example for the follicularly challenged, hard choices have to be made. True, the evils that the coiffures of Dio & DuBrow have done live after them; the good is oft interred with their bones. But better to risk a little disrespect to the departed bald than to condemn the living bald to such an ill-considered 'do.
And yes, by "Gallagher" I meant the enemy of watermelons everywhere, not the enemies of dressing-room T Vs and vocal coaches.
Wouldn't surprise me at all...I remember reading somewhere that the reason Michael Jackson started wearing wigs was because he lost a lot of hair after it caught fire in that Pepsi ad accident.
Geoff Tate and Bret Michaels. Tate got hair implants I believe (before shaving his head again), Michaels just kept buying wider and wider do-rags since about 1998.

If I were to write some of the strange things that come under my eyes they would not be believed. ~Cora M. Strayer~

This is just a weird little curiosity of mine....
I got into Slayer around 2004/5. I knew Kerry King as the bald dude with a badass beard. Yet it seems during Slayer's heyday he had a full head of hair and only shaved it all off when he started losing it. (that's what I read anyway)
Similarly, Phil Oakey of The Human League had some pretty radical hairdos (it was the 80s after all) but decided to keep it short when he started losing his hair.
And so I'm just wondering what other prominent long-haired musicians had to adjust for the ravages of age?
Also do you have any preferences ie. do you miss the hair or like their new look?
For KFK, I think the bald look is a lot more distinctive and better than his old appearance. However I miss Phil's outrageous but stylish 80s hair.
