Speaking of Papa John’s, I remember one time the place I ordered from suddenly got a large flood of orders, so it took the delivery guy a lot longer to get to my place than the website said it would take. So I gave him a $10 tip after he explained what happened. :)

Bump. Suddenly I have a hankering for a pizza from a place I ordered from a lot when I was a kid. :) ^_^;;

You reminded me that I was planning on taking my wife to Pizza King on the trip home for Christmas that didn't happen. Now I want really salty, slightly greasy thin crust pizza.

Where's that? It sounds interesting.

Regional chain that I don't think has expanded much outside of Indiana and eastern Ohio. Some of the franchisees operate as Royal Line, where the restaurant is train-themed and your drinks are served by a model train that runs by your table.

If I had "buying franchises" money, I might try to introduce it to Texas.

That does sound cool. :) There's a hamburger & hot dog restaurant in Chicago that does that.

The pizzeria I was reminiscing about is called Marisa's Pizza. Which I'm not sure has any locations outside of Chicago.

Pizza King is found in Colorado. There's one in Pueblo. It's fairly decent.

Despite probably being an affront to both Italian and Mexican food (probably), I must admit that the Taco Pizza from an American Takeaway where I live is one I really like.

Though warm guacamole is... odd, there's crunchy tortilla chips and tasty salsa on it. It's not my favorite due to the aforementioned guacamole, but it's still pretty good.

All this talk of restaurants being exclusive to certain locations made me remember this.

Back in May of 2018, I went to the Hollywood Palms movie theater (which also includes some excellent pizzas in its repertoire ) in Naperville, Illinois to see the new Tomb Raider movie. After I finished watching the movie and paid for my dinner, I asked one of the people who works there if there are any movie theaters like that in Florida. He said no; with the obvious exception of Naperville, all their other locations are spread throughout Texas. When I was driving to my favorite cafe afterwards, I said aloud "Aw man. That's gonna take some getting used to."

Have I mentioned ziti pizza yet? Because it's really good, especially on a Sicilian crust.

I try to limit myself to one pizza per month. I don't wanna develop a problem.

That said, my pizza place of choice is the Hut, and my favorite toppings are pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon.

Okay, so the official name of the chain is Sir Pizza, but they operate within Indiana as Pizza King and franchise outside of Indiana as Sir Pizza? I've read the wikipedia page before and I'm still a little confused.

"Pizza King" is a pretty easy name to land on when you're looking for a name for your pizza place. I found a decidedly not related "Pizza King" restaurant operating in Longview, TX that puts the year of their establishment in their URL to be unique.

I just remembered that time I was at college in Muncie, and assigned to read a book set outside Muncie, and the narrator mentioned going to Pizza King and I thought for a moment, because I was in literature mode "hah, that's a cute parody of fast food names. Like Burger King but for Pizza... wait, why does that sound more familiar than that?" Muncie is the birthplace of Pizza King as a chain.

Sorry, I forgot to post this sooner. ^_^;; Marisa’s Pizza is still as good as I remember. :)

Aside from the local pizza joints, the only major places I've been in terms of actual pizza is this chain called Grotto Pizza. It's incredibly popular in Delaware, but it started about three hours from there in a city near the land of Dunder-Mifflin Paper.

Compared to the local joints, I'd say it was alright. But then again, I might just be spoiled by the off-brand New York quality pizza in my region.

Pepperoni Pizza is S tier pizza. But stuffed crust pizza is always S+ tier

I think I’ll try the one from Papa John’s one of these days.

Since in Mexico Papa John's average, I prefer some from "I <3 Pizza" or "Little Caesar's" coz they're gooood in here.

Been going to my local pizza place a lot more since they started accepting cards last year.

The pizza they have at Hollywood Palms is still as good as I remember.

My brother brought a Shakey's Pizza for my mom's birthday. It was a thin pizza, and had potato shreds in it.

A few weeks ago, I tried out mushrooms on pizza for the first time. They don't really add that much flavor, I find (which is to be expected considering they add 0 calories), but they're still alright.
