Hm, to be honest, I'm kinda on the fence on this particular matter. I mean, on the one hand, there's the whole deal with the ten-year-old succubus for a main character. Yet, on the other hand, from what I've heard, it's actually relatively innocuous, with nothing explicit occurring at any point in the work. If someone can clue me in on what's the deal with this work, they can go right ahead and PM me some info on it.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Okay, after reading the first few chapters, I can safely say that this is... okay with me. Yes, this is something of an ecchi series, so it does have its fair share of fanservice; however, not only do those moments not show anything explicit, none of them involve any kids. In fact, aforementioned fanservice bits aside, it's actually one of the more innocent works that I've read. So, yeah, despite the Audience-Alienating Premise, it ain't a porno nor a pro-pedophilic work, and that's good enough for me.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I'm with Kamodin. I just read the first five chapters. No sex—implied or explicit—just a bad case of Audience-Alienating Premise.
Still. It is fucked by that premise. There just isn't any way to play 10 year old succubus as "just funnin' around."
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyExactly.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. My initial thought on this series is to cut, based on the premise of a fanservice heavy series focusing on a ten year old.
Shimaspawn stated in one of the other threads that the anime is much tamer than the manga. If that's true, I would potentially be open to voting to make the page anime only. I'd like to take the time to review a few episodes before making that decision.

"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Yeah, we're in no rush.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Well, I've watched about four episodes of the anime series. I'll go ahead and list the elements I found problematic with what I've seen so far:
- No less than ten panty shots from Lotte that lingered uncomfortably long.
- Suggestive eye catches, such as Lotte licking her (phallic) tail, or licking cream off of the maid's chest.
- Sexual jokes and innuendo centered on Lotte, ranging from "scattered" to "omnipresent" depending on the episode.
- The use of some fairly common "romance anime" tropes between Naoya and Lotte, which could easily paint the relationship as romantic instead of familial for some viewers.
- It's listed as seinen, and thus aimed at older viewers.
I want to make it clear that I do think this series is right on the borderline, and I can easily see how the average fan could enjoy the show without prurient interest. The relationship issues between Lotte and her mother are genuinely sweet/sad, and the butler (Olaf?) is hilarious. It's certainly not even close to as bad as Kodomo no Jikan as far as sexualization goes.
That said, the combination of problematic elements just pushes it too far across the line for me. It's unfortunate, because a few minor changes to different aspects of the story would have made it a lot more acceptable. As is, though, my vote will be for this work page to remain cut.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! So I think this is three to two with Eddie, Meeble, and I voting to keep cut, Discar and Komodin voting to restore.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Whoops, for some reason I was thinking Catalogue had weighed in on this one, and that I was the fifth vote, but it appears I was mistaken. Is Eddie taking his place, officially?
If not, I don't see why it can't wait until the Cat comes back.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! The problem is that we haven't heard from Catalogue since 25 April. Since Eddie was taking Triple Elation's place I figured he just continued filling in for the other missing member. I'll holler to get the official word.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. If I could find the Lotte violation report, I'd give it a devil. It's already cut, right? I guess this is done.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyYes, it's cut already.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.I'd like to change this to (feedback requested) for now. Apologies, I should have included that in my original holler.
It was pointed out to me in the Page Restoration Petitions thread that based on the feedback I originally received, I did not give the manga for Lotte No Omocha a proper review. I think this was a fair point, and thus I'd like to request feedback (positive or negative) on whether the manga specifically violates our policy. I plan to read some of this series over the weekend, and will weigh the opinions provided here against that to make my final decision.
The feedback I want is for the manga only, as I previously reviewed enough of the anime series to feel secure that my vote on that will not change. Tgoodrich1 has indicated that he would be willing to review this series as well, so if he wants info on anything anime-related I will leave it to him to ask for it.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur. Not sure if you care, but here are links to previous discussions:
Initial discussion, starting here and continuing through the top of page 37.
Pyrite's appeal, sparking further discussion, the meat of which starts here and continues to halfway through the next page.
Now, on to my opinion, which I thought I'd already posted in the Restorations thread, but apparently not: I read the manga around the time it first came up for consideration (I have not watched the anime, nor have I gone back to read any chapters of the manga which have been put out since then), and I feel like it probably falls over into what we don't want. The Lotte-is-a-succubus isn't really an issue—it's made clear that she is still too young for sex, and their main motivation for bringing in a man at this point is to get her comfortable with them (as she can't stand them). However, there is a significant focus on panties in combination with the two girls (Lotte and the human girl whose name I don't remember) throughout the manga, ranging from panty-shots to the girls going without panties (you never really see anything, but if they're commando, it's mentioned) to discussions of panties. The girls apparently prefer not to wear underwear, so it comes up frequently as the adults try to enforce "you must wear underwear". While I think a certain degree of occurrence of panties can be innocent, it cropped up so often that it shifted the tone into something more sexual. As these are 8-year-olds (or so; don't remember the precise ages) we're talking about, I think the manga falls just into TV Tropes' definition of pedopandering.

Since tdgoodrich1 said he wanted to review the anime on his own, Crunchyroll link to the anime. Note the difference in name.
