So, this is a thread for newbies to the Game Of Thrones universe to discuss the show without running the risk of being spoiled.
And that's any kind of spoiler, btw, even the "wait and see" kind of spoiler. Everyone should post here if they want to, just be mindful of what you're saying people.
So. Queef of Darkness, amiright? Holy shit the ending to that episode was amazing.

Good luck. The TV topic really needs to watch it's book spoilers. Dunno if the mods will allow this one to remain unfortunately. They frown upon duplicate topics and very unofficial spoiler policy leans toward "man up and take your spoilers or don't read the site".

But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you.Awesome, so just so I'm familiar with this.
TV spoilers are ok (i.e. discussing latest episodes with spoiler tags) but book spoilers are not? If we have to spoiler tag everything in latest episodes what's the rule on discussing major events from previous episodes? Do I have to spoiler Eddard's death or The shadowbaby?
I guess I'll be hanging out on this thread from now on.
Anyway, cool image
◊ that I came across, has some spoilers about season 1 and mentions characters from season 2. I would so watch "Eddard Stark- An Inconvenient Truth"
I'd say we can allow all show spoilers, just not ones from the books. Maybe even use the Viewer's Guide HBO has up.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Sounds good to me. And perhaps spoiler anything from the Viewer's Guide that hasn't been on the show yet.

Carry on.

Thanks very much, also.
I can't be the only one who thinks that the "came from behind" joke in the link Shadow Scythe posted to be in a little poor taste. The comparison does stick, somewhat, until I realised that Renly seems to be hanging out with the most liberated people. That's cool.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet. So, it looks like Arya has a new friend.
And he gave the greatest gift of all. A dead enemy.
Anyone can be killed indeed.
One Strip! One Strip! That moment between Tywin and Arya was quite intense, I thought. She basically threatened a guy who's at least as powerful as a king in front of his war council. It's kinda amazing to see Masie William's performance matching up against a heavyweight like Charles Dance.
Tywin's not going to be sticking around long, methinks — though I hope he does, since he'd probably steamroll Joffery. Plus, Charles Dance! Fuckin' A.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.I didn't see that death coming. I'm guessing the shadow babies must have a very limited lifespan, or else be confined to Melisandre's vicinity, or this would be a pretty short war.
I wonder if they're setting up a future romance between Arya and Gendry, or if she just likes to platonically stare at his shirtless body.
I really like Yara Greyjoy. I've seen a lot of book-readers complain about the actress not being hot/confident/swashbuckly enough, but the more I see of her, the more I disagree on all counts.
I didn't like the way they did Renly's death. It was so cursory: about three minutes of lead-up and two of aftermath. Totally anticlimactic.
Also, why does everyone hate Joffrey so much? Not everyone in the show, but real people, reviewers and so on? I mean, I get that he's evil, but there are other fictional characters who do equally or more evil things and people love them, whereas Joffrey just seems to inspire more loathing than any character I've ever seen. And I don't get it at all; not that I think he's a good guy, but he doesn't make me angry or anything and I actually like his scenes in a what's-he-going-to-do-next kind of way. Does Jack Gleeson have some kind of dark anticharisma that works on everyone but me?
I don't really see it.
