A drawn out fight probably wouldn't be in the eyeball's best interests, anyway. For a variety of reasons.

Namely, he'd lose one on one.

Since, you know, Aqua is Lucius's commanding officer, it's two-on-one at the very least.

Given that his primary methods of attack are either obvious or easily dodged, yes, I imagine he would lose a one on one fight.

Wait, you guys are starting a fight in the backroom? (This never turns out well.) I assume you have something planned already - or are outsiders allowed to intervene?

Don't intervene. This'll get confusing enough without it. Eugh... seriously, joining as a fucking floating eyeball of darkness when there's half a dozen people with more than enough reason to want to kill it on sight. =.=

From my experience, playing a character that's hated / attacked by other characters can be taxing sometimes. Cf. Hyou Sakura, Jack Shadow...

It's very tempting to have either DDR or Margaret to join the frey, since the former hates any form of prejudice while the latter would see the actions of attacking as impractical.

Maybe I should have DDR use his Amusing Injury hammers to cut this short though?

I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it, since I think that keeping group cohesion matters a mite more than trying to kill an eyeball thing with presumably no provocation.

Like I said, this never turns out well - usually because you can't start a fight in a briefing room without everyone else present having some sort of reaction. The floating eyeball hasn't done anything to qualify for "attack on sight", and realistically speaking, there will be those who will interfere - either on principle, or because the fight will logically turn the place into a smouldering wreck.

That's alright, I knew what I was getting into when I threw him in. But I'm also going to guess that the guys that summoned everyone here would have a) expected high tensions and b) deal with in house fighting.

They don't want their investments to go killing eachother. Those are all good reasons too.

I repeat: Stephan, you need to edit your post. Read Rainy's post carefully; Aqua flew toward Kurodark, she didn't shoot him. She's a 7-inch-tall girl, after all, and flies more than she walks.

Depending on what happens, DDR might interfere...or he could not since he's not in the area.

I don't imagine the walls are so thick that the sounds of these two mages casting spells and attacking, and if Kurodark attacks back, wouldn't be heard.

Well, with the people supposed to be heading towards different areas, I thought it would not be possible for DDR to be there.

Maybe Margaret can possibly be though.

If it comes down to it, which it will come down to fairly quickly, Kurodark will run back into the Tavern and out, getting up high and coming down in another area if he manages to lose the mages. Transforming into a passerby then coming back to see if his disguise works.

@The person that suggested hammers: I think you're both overestimating the noise made and underestimating the challenge of hitting something so small.

Is absorbing dark power a wise thing to do?

I'm not sure how it would turn out. Kurodark did at once point go around killing things and infecting them with his power to turn them into slaves or power.
