Currently working on SCP Foundation but dear god is there ever a lot of natter on that page.

lalalei2001: Yes, essentially. ANF and HONF implied we could know authorial intent, which is never a good idea. However, I'd check this thread in the repair shop morgue. It was in the 3rd or 4th post on the first page, so you won't have seen it if you thread hopped here.

Fixed The Decemberists (there was only entry on the HONF page, so I just moved it to YMMV...) and Radiohead.

Here are the Nightmare Fuel entries from YMMV.Family Guy:

  • Nightmare Fuel: Some of the Dead Baby Comedy can do this. The final fate of Stewie and Brian's clones pretty much is a visual example of it, exponentially.
    • Another example is the actual version of Santa's Workshop in "Road to the North Pole". The elves are bad enough, but those reindeer....you won't sleep well.
    • If it weren't for the usual bits of comedy thrown in, the murder mystery episode had all the elements to make a genuinely scary story.
    • A pre-cancellation example is the non-canon episode "Da Boom". The episode was about the effects of the Y2K crash and its aftermath, complete with implied death, mutation, and cannibalism. It doesn't help that this episode aired days before the Y2K scare.
    • Brian's Mushroom Samba in Seahorse Seashell Party. It is messed up, and absolutely TERRIFYING. From start to finish. Not one bit of it was even remotely funny (except maybe when Peter appeared as a drumstick, but consider that he was literally being roasted earlier...), and while it was expected, there was a Jump Scare at the end. It is perhaps the most disturbing, surreal, and absolutely TERRIFYING moment in the ENTIRE SERIES.
      • Try watching that part at night, on the second floor of your house, alone, and with the lights out. Definitely wasn't fun.
    • Jeff from "Screams Of Siilence" ties with that. His very presence will make you sick to your stomach.

I don't know anything about the show, so I can't fix it - but I'm just letting whoever opted to clean up NightmareFuel.Family Guy know.

I'm back! Gotta finish the Pokémon article. I promised it'd be fast and I mean to keep that promise.

See you later!

[EDIT: Crap. I didn't notice I didn't click on "send" before, so now you got the announcement of the Pokémon page being finally fully fixed in the same post.]

Well, now... Kirby is next!... provided it's back, that is.

[EDIT: It isn't! I need someone to restore Kirby so I can edit it!]

Why in the name of all that is holy was HONF cutlisted? It has close to 20.000 inbounds.

The HONF page and subpages for Real Life have been moved to NF.

Yes, but High Octane Nightmare Fuel could be a redirect. Cutting 20,000 inbounds is more than excessive.

EDIT: Wait, Willbyr wasn't talking to me apparently.

I'm going to restore HONF, and you'd better not cutlist something with so many inbounds again.

About indexing: You have to change the entry on the index page. For example, say I just finished up and moved HighOctaneNightmareFuel/Fringe. I'd need to go to the NightmareFuel/LiveActionTV index and edit it to change the HighOctaneNightmareFuel/Fringe entry to NightmareFuel/Fringe.

You can see what index a page is on by looking at the bottom before you move it and opening it in a new tab. Or, if you made the old HONF page a redirect, you can click the related to button, click on the redirect up in the corner, and see all the pages you need to fix the wick on, including the index.

If it's not indexed and you're not sure where to put it, feel free to ask here where it should be indexed.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.

Pan's Labyrinth, Fight Club and The Rocky Horror Picture Show cleaned and moved.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but how many examples should a NF page have to justify its existence, vs. just sticking the examples under YMMV?

Done. Sorry, missed that.

This is the most productive clean-up I have ever seen. We should headline these things more often. tongue

*jawdrop* Okay, the # of wicks for HONF dropped from well over 6000 last night to less than 200 as of a few minutes ago...did we seriously have that many people jump on this at once or did something else happen?

if you cutlist it, it resets the number of wicks to zero and puts them back as pages are edited. FE has a tool that can show you the real amount of wicks, but it is a strain on the server so should be used sparingly.

So whomever cutlisted it kind of screwed us over, there. I'll PM them and ask them to watch the inbounds.

Sorry for bothering, but I didn't want to use the holler button (I've never used it before, anyway).

Going out for a few minutes now, in order to pick up some wood. In the meantime, can anyone restore Super Smash Bros.? I'll take care of it, nevermind its length.
