Until you cook them.
Then they fucking suck.

The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.Green Bell Peppers are one of the nastiest foods on this planet.
I used to not be able to swallow them. The slightest taste of pepper would make me gag.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderI mildly dislike carrots — well, I'm OK with them as part of the base for some sauces, but not as a main ingredient.
Bell peppers are great, however (although I find that their flavor is not really all that dependent from the color: green is slightly more bitter, usually, but that varies a lot).

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Reading the OP, I wonder about what the hell is up with Americans' taste in vegetables, particularly commonly seen in media portrayals.
That said, raw carrots are superior to cooked for sure.
Yes!
I like raw carrots and cooked equally as long as they don't have any kind of weird sauce on them. They're best plain. And cooked peas and carrots? Absolutely fabulous!
Maybe the Japanese just don't realize that these vegetables have sister vegetables they are meant to be eaten with. Carrots go boiled with peas and peppers go sauteed in a little bit of oil with onions.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Jaoanese people are alright, I guess. Usually a little lean for my tastes- I'm a big guy who frequently swings around large metal objects, I need some serious caloric intake- but the flavour is usually pretty good.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-

What is it with anime characters not liking green bell peppers and carrots? Carrots are like the ONLY vegetable most American children love. And yet in Haibane Renmei the children claim they are bitter. That is a blatant lie! They are sweet! And what is wrong with green bell peppers? Is something in Japan's climate not good for them that it makes them taste bad? I mean I like colored bell peppers more but I don't have a problem with the green ones. And yet I never see anime characters complaining about how much they hate broccoli, which I guess would be the stereotypical American vegetable of non-choice.
