I know, Henry Clay was a great man.
He kept the civil war from happening for thirty years. He could make bitter enemies compromise and come together.

Yeah, Clay, Webster, and Marshall were the only three men who would stand up to Jackson. After Marshall died, it was up to Clay and Webster to take up the call...
