Something's bugging me.
In one of the Crash games (I forget which), there's a level called Snow Job. It's more or less become an accepted fact that the name is an example of Getting Crap Past the Radar, i.e. punning on "blowjob." But "snow job" is an old-fashioned term for a fraud or a hoax. There's nothing sexual about it at all.
I feel like that's an example of a trope, but I'm not sure which.
It's the first GBA game, The Huge Adventure / XS.
I guess a lot of people just aren't familiar with that term.
Then again, some have tried to make an innuendo our of the same game having a level called "Drip, Drip, Drip", so...
Your melody still remains in this room and it ringsI settled for 100% in that game. That was enough for me.

But that's only required for 106%. I think 100% only requires the gems, which aren't so bad if you use a guide to find hidden crates and gems.
Yes, 100% only requires all gems, but given that pretty much every stage has a few crates hidden in really rude spots, it's still painful. A guide is practically required for some of them.
Also, the fact that you need to do it twice for every stage is super unnecessary. I really think the N-Verted stages shouldn't have had their own separate set of gems.

Ironically, Cold Hard Crash's biggesy issue is probably the biggest problem this game doesn't have. There are very few times you have to backtrack to get crates on both sides of a fork, and when you do, the camera lets you see the end so you don't have to go all the way to know you can now turn back.
So, tomorrow is Crash's 25th anniversary. There's also a Playstation State of Play tomorrow. I'm planning on tuning in, but I'm also going to keep other channels open in case an announcement isn't there.

I'm guessing that Wumpa League is just gonna be a special event for the mobile-only Crash: On the Run!.

Doubt it. On the Run has already got an event for the anniversary, and all the Wumpa teases have used 4's designs.
WHOA!
Remember when we were complaining about CTR: Nitro-Fueled not having a PC version is just leaving money on the table?
A massive NVIDIA GeForce NOW leak revealed, among several unannounced titles, that a PC version of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is indeed happening!
Huh. Well, I'm not complaining. Maybe this means I can get some of the Temporary Online Content I missed on the Switch version.
We'll have to wait and see if Activision confirms anything about the PC port of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. Sure, it would be two years late, but hey, better late than never!
I kinda doubt it, given that Beenox is probably working on Call of Duty: Vanguard, alongside Activision's other studios, but it would be nice if the game received one last batch of DLC to commemorate Crash's 25th anniversary, featuring one last GP with some courses inspired by Crash Bandicoot 4, some CB4-styled costumes for the characters (and perhaps some more PS1 skins for characters from the original game), and finally, adding the final batch of characters, including Ripto, the Sorceress, and Willie Wumpacheeks.
Even if Nitro-Fueled is a Battle.net exclusive on PC, I would be pretty happy that a PC port of the game is finally happening. Fingers crossed that all of the DLC content will be included as standard on there as well. Just ditch the limited time Pit-Stop mechanic and have everything available from the get-go.

That's a hell of a lot of Crash.
You are not alone.
