Continuing with Bakemonogatari.
Take back what I said in second update. There was a blink-and-you-miss-it scene in which Araragi gropes (accidentally) Hachikuji. I never would have noticed it had he not commented on her chest at the start of ep. 5.
Update: At least he recognized that he was sexually harassing her and admitted as much. Really that strikes me more as commentary than pedo-pandering. So far, she hasn't been presented sexually (read: no fanservice shots of the fifth grader); Araragi just comes off looking like a pervert.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenHunh. Then I'm really not clear on the rationale for Comics Nix. I'm trying to recall if there was something in his entry or works that would break the parallels between the situations.
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesThat's commonly how Araragi and Hachikuji interact; he'll see her just walking by, sneak up, feel her up, get his ass kicked by her, and then the two start talking philosophy and contemplate their navels.
The show is weird like that.

#IceBearForPresidentI know. As I said, I am familiar with the series unlike my previous evaluations. Merely presenting it because it may be relevant to the P5 in their decision-making process. Moving on to ep. 9 of Bakemonogatari. (Nadeko-Centric)
Duly noted. May look at ep. 10 if I find 9 objectionable. Was already planning a look at 2 of Nisemonogatari.
Update: Nothing to report so far, however Nadeko has only been in the ep. for all of 15 seconds as of now.
Update the second: Finally shows, and she strips down. Unlike with Hachikuji, this is actually presented sexually. Araragi seems more embarrassed by the whole thing, but that doesn't really make things better. Will evaluate 10.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenAs an aside for people reviewing the Bakemonogatari anime, the episodes that I think could potentially be considered problematic are those focusing on Nadeko, i.e., Bakemonogatari Ep. 9 and 10, and the second episode of Nisemonogatari. As far as I remember, everything else is tamer than these episodes, and according to the thread on the Anime & Manga forum, this holds for the other light novels in the series as well. The other episodes are all more or less typical for the series.

I think the rationale for Comics Nix was that his fics did have explicit stuff in them, rather than just implied or mentioned or so impossible to understand what was happening.
?Halfway through 10. Currently bumping up rating to borderline. Things are not getting better.
Update: Confirmation: borderline. Contains scene uncomfortably evocative of rape. Possibly to make viewer uncomfortable rather than titillated. Both Araragi and Kanbaru appear to be looking on in horror.
Update the second: Confirmation: supposed to be uncomfortable. Goes right into Araragi being attacked by the snake. Fairly brutal.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI guess that could be true, though since the page was taken down it's tough to confirm. For my part, I don't recall that it's explicit in ways that Thirty Hs or Peter Chimaera isn't, or explicit about different things.
Or maybe the mods just haven't gotten around to restoring it yet. Hard to be sure.

"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesIs it Played for Laughs — as in, we're supposed to laugh at the mortified/scandalized guy on the recieving end?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. As far as I remember, it was Played for Drama.
Nope, drama. For context, they are trying to remove a curse from her and things have suddenly taken a turn for the worse.
Ninja'd.
Anyways onto Nisemonogatari ep 2. Current assessment is still borderline.
What is against the policy is the scene in previous episode which is supposed to be fanservicey.
Update: Ep. begins with Nadeko attempting to seduce Araragi. He ain't buying it. Fanservice from Nadeko ensues. Still nothing as explicit as scene in ep. 9, but questionable nonetheless.
Update the second: Remainder of fanservice includes, but is not limited to a rather gratuitous nude scene of Kanbaru, with conveniently placed books

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenIf it's supposed to be uncomfortable, then that's not against our guidelines.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerOne moment, please. Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari are licensed by Aniplex USA for distribution and Nisemonogatari is available on Crunchyroll. I am currently attempting to find the official US ratings.

About the Monster Girl Encyclopedia, the verdict was to cut it, but obviously it hasn't been. Is it because they came to another decision about it or something?
Seems that they want a redirect and/or Bleached Underpants form.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, there's another related work that they're considering making the other works redirect to.
Read the thread there seems to have been some confusion over exactly what they were voting on.
It looks like they are going to debate using some bleached underpants manga as a redirect or something like that.
Ep. finishes with a rather amusing reversal of Araragi's bad habit of sexually harassing Hachikuji, courtesy of Kanbaru. Nothing explicit is shown.
Moving on to ep. 4 of Nisemonogatari.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenThirty Hs has no explicit sex. There's a mention that Dumbledore has sex with suns, and there's an ape (the Rape Ape) with fur made of penises, but no sex.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."As I mentioned in the absent people thread, I'm going to be out of town for a couple of days, so after this evening I likely won't be online again until Sunday or Monday.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!By what time? If I need to hurry my verdict, I can.
Update: First half of ep. clean. Second half was furo scene during which Araragi and Shinobu have a conversation. Combination of Censor Steam, Godiva Hair, obstacle placement, and camera placement and zoom keep things relatively clean. Of note: no "Mature Audiences" flag on Hulu.
Now moving to ep. 8 of Nisemonogatari. Will return to evaluation after dinner. I need a break.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenDon't worry about hurrying it on my account. If those series haven't already been resolved by the other panels members votes (since it only takes three votes in one direction to resolve something), I'll catch back up when I return.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Someone just flagged Tara Strong's article in what looks like an attempt to change the page type. Just letting mods know so it can be handled appropriately.
I'm going to provide another information thingy regarding Tottemo Pheromone so it can be resolved quicker.
