Its main page is still cut, it's still on Pages Cut Under The Policy Change as Appealed, and it's not on the resolved list. Pretty sure no action has been taken on it.
I flagged Hoshikawa Ginza District 4 which I just happened to come across recently while on a yuri manga kick. It's about a teacher who has a romance with her 13 year old adopted daughter, and from what I saw of it the teacher at the very least expresses a desire to have sex with her.
I'm pretty sure this is a content violation, but I'd like to see what others think. It can be read here
.
It appears that someone has flagged Hoshikawa Ginza District 4. Is there anything I should know about this?

Where's the offending content? I just glanced at the first chapter or so and I dragged a random review out
of google, and it doesn't seem to be any more terrible then a Teacher/Student Romance.
...I just read the chapter in question, and that scene described there was about as titillating as a pile of wet paper. Not to mention the surrounding pages were about a child discussing exams and college to her parental figure, so it's more random then anything.
We're gonna have to dig deeper here to decide it's to be shorn off.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)![]()
I haven't gotten quite that far, but I know that in volume 1, chapter 3, the teacher declares (despite saying they can't do anything because of her age) "but I really want to have sex with Otome!".
Volume 1, chapter 5 has their first (non-chaste) kiss.
Volume 1, chapter 6 has the two bathing together, with the girl rubbing her body against her teacher's chest.
That's about as far as I'll get tonight. I can review more later on if necessary.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! That's correct. Coupled with the younger girl apparently being only 13, I'm gonna have to give this a devilhead.
Edit: ... Er, make that "definitely gonna give this a devilhead."

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I'll take a look tomorrow. I've been busy recently, though that should be coming to an end soon.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenOK, looks like I'm having a movie marathon this weekend. Who all's in?
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenGave final devil vote on Hoshikawa for reasons above. That aside, there's also ethical concerns about student-teacher relationships but that has nothing to do with our criteria.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenWhile I agree that it does not fit within our guidelines, Hoshikawa is not as blatant as the earlier posts imply. The girl looks a couple of years older than her actual age (or rather, over the course of the series she appears to age into what age she looks like), the kiss was, as aptly described earlier, "as titillating as a pile of wet paper", and the two sex scenes could barely even be called that: The former would have bored me even if both participants were in their twenties, while the latter (between the main characters) was a case of Fading To Black.
That said though, the former sex scene, as well as the latter half of the series in general (where both main characters are well-aware of what the other feels), lead me to believe that this indeed does pander to pedophiles.
I say all this not to change people's minds (as I agree with the verdict), but so that everybody knows better why the series falls afoul of our guidelines.
I certainly didn't mean to imply that those scenes were more "sexy than a wet paper bag". I thought the way I described the scenes in question was pretty matter-of-fact.
It definitely wouldn't fly under the guidelines for "primarily porn", but to me it's obviously meant to appeal to those who enjoy age-gap romances, and the age of the younger partner in this case pushes it into violation of our guidelines territory.

Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Oh God. Just God. There's NO WAY Vase De Noches will pass. There's no way I want you to watch it. I watched it and I can't get the images of a man fucking a pig - unsimulated - out of my head. Please, just watch, like, Anatomy of Hell, which is at least mind-numbingly stupid and distances itself from its more prurient aspects.
I figure we can not worry about it until the works page is resolved. If vote is to cut, cut it then. Until then, leave it be.
@9121: it's not about how disgusting the movie is; if it were, Pink Flamingos would have been cut.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.

@Kuro: Caligula was decided by Eddie fiat.
