Yes. No listing stuff that has not been cut. No discussion please. No arguing about policy. Points being made can be pro-restore or anti-restore, but they should be specific to that work. Well-argued points, please.

A brighter future for a darker age.

@Feo: After people expressed concern in the other thread, I went through the cutlist and made such a list. I'll continue to monitor the cutlist, too.

I'm believe Eddie has made up his mind, but Kodomo No Jikan should not be restored. It's full of blatant pedo-fanservice and was designed for pedo-masturbating. The wiki doesn't deserve it's presence.

Some people say that it doesn't portray pedophilia in a positive light, but when you have upskirt shots of young (very young) girls, the anti-pedophilia thing doesn't fly. If it was anti-pedophilia, it wouldn't have pedo-fanservice.

VisualNovel.Fate Hollow Ataraxia has also been cut. Like VisualNovel.Fate Stay Night, it is almost entirely free of sexual content. The last time I checked it only mentioned those adult scenes maybe once or twice.

and was designed for pedo-masturbating

That isn't an argument. It is a wild assumption about the intent of the creators and an indirect ad hominem against the fans, backed by no evidence.

designed for pedo-masturbating

While I can see why Kodomo no Jikan will not reappear, that is far from a valid excuse. Clearly Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch and misinterpreting why many people read the manga. A form of Ad Hominem

I'm under the assumption that Plot with heavy ecchi that has loli is out, so I won't vouch for it. sad

So it goes.

[up][up] Take it to the Content Policy Change thread.

Oh, and can we not vouch why something shouldn't be restored when no one said that it should?!

This is not the thread to propose that other things get cut or discuss works that have not been cut.

Also, don't make assumptions at this point about will or will not be restored. Just present your arguments here.

I want to list two things.

First, Kodomo No Jikan. It's not "kiddie porn" as some people might have said; it does not contain explicit underage material; it does not portray pedophilia much; in rare cases it does mention it, it makes clear that it's a hideous thing. The manga contains a lot of story and character development; and while it does have quite a lot of loli fanservice, it is very susceptible to both Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch and Complaining About Shows You Dont Like.
(plus, you can add to this everything Anno R said in post #56)

Second, Lotte No Omocha. While I can see how the synopsis may turn off those who only read it, the manga is much Better Than It Sounds, a pretty clean light-hearted comedy, and completely different from what it may seem from the synopsis.

On a different note, I'd like to request to remove the "we don't need this" banner from the latter work. It's rather rude (bluntly saying that "your stuff sucks"), somewhat inconvenient (hard to get to the discussion, "related" list, etc.), and completely uncalled for (I haven't seen any other pages with it, except Naughty Tentacles).
Whether we need this or not is going to be determined by the mediating council (as far as I can gather), and the banner does not serve any useful purpose over simple page lock.
If this is not a good place to post this request, please tell me where I can do it. I've already been pinballed through three places with it!

Note: I have seen the Lotte anime. There is a suggestion that a child has a bare bottom, but nothing explicit in my view. It is available through crunchyroll if anyone needs to view it.

Although I feel that Kn J ch 80 went too far as far as content. [down][down]

[up][up][up] I WANT TO VOUCH FOR THOSE TWO DAMMIT!!! So I shall.

I can agree with what he says. There is no explicit porn despite the reputation of the former and the premise of the latter. There is fanservice, but that's it. Most people read those manga for the plot. While there are people who do read it for the fanservice, using that as a reason against either is ridiculous. Just remove all the tropes related to the fan service!

@One More: I'm not gonna vouch for Lotte, but I will put some two cents in. Someone did explain how it was Better Than It Sounds, but not a lot of people buy it/shot it down without second consideration (in short it went: "It's about a ten-year-old succubus." "But it's a loving story and-" "Ten. Year-old. Succubus. End of story."), mostly due to the premise. Overly simplistic summaries didn't help its case.

As for Kodomo, I recall Casper shooting those ideals (I.E. it does not contain explicit underage material) down with a few pages.
