We generally have less of an issue with people covering up things like sex humor or other sex based stuff, so prudishness is rarely an issue. It's also harder to spot something that should be there but isn't than to find something that definitely shouldn't be on the site.

Awkward page-topper, Fighteer.

On a serious note, I would have no problem putting clean examples from A Serbian Film back, but it might be worth considering keeping it locked.

And the same for YMMV.A Serbian Film I'm guessing? At the very least, we could add Vukmir's Complete Monster entry.

I'd want Komodin's opinion first, because I think he was leaning more toward cutting it.

I'm okay with either solution, mind. I don't like the current compromise much, but I understand that it was a compromise.

It's been a while since I petitioned for Nightshade the Merry Widow. Would it be worth resubmitting in the hopes that there's been a regime change?

Quick precis: CG webcomic about nude anthropomorphic insects and spiders whose predator-prey relationships involve a lot of sex. My article about it was banned on the grounds that it was "porn". My contention was and is that it's not just non-stop bonking, and no more explicit than, say, Oglaf.

Declaration of interest: I'm script-editing the next (as yet unposted) story arc.

Currently co-writing a webcomic you can't read about on TV Tropes because the admins mistook it for porn.

The "regime change" didn't actually change anything in regards to P5.

ObDisclaimer: I am not on the P5 team, nor in any way a spokesman for them.

That out of the way, the ownership of TVT has changed, not its policies.

Is there a new defense you'd like to offer that hasn't been brought up (and found insufficiently convincing) previously?

The thing to note is most of the stuff up for re-review, like Caligula, was banned by admin fiat.

Since there are new admins, it makes sense to review these works in case they are salvageable or have a Bleached Underpants version.

Works that did not meet the merits before are pointless to rereview unless something drastically changes.

Note: Not a mod or P5 member. (I know a lot, but I still have to learn a lot.)

[up]IIRC only fiat were Caligula and one of the loli animes. (KNJ I think, while Lotte was reviewed thoroughly.)

Also, have anybody actually gone and asked them to come in here to talk about any of it, at all? Sure, they were immediately busy with all the other stuff, but do we have any idea if that has let up yet? (Can any mods shed some light on that?)

drewski has discussed the idea to relax some aspects of the 5P policy but I don't think it's anything immediate.

Nohbody: I don't have anything to add to my basic defense, but I've always been seriously miffed that the original ban was carried out precipitously and without explanation.

It was KNJ, which, for the record, is unlikely to be restored, to say the least.

[up] As a person who has read the Manga itself(I gotta catch up on it too, I think 83 is the next chapter?), even I'd give it a "hell no". It does have the message that "lolicon is bad" in it, but it does a poor job of showing it by making it look like the exact opposite. The main character is a very young girl who is just way too sexual for her own good. Which slightly makes sense why it's that way since it was written by a woman.

Regardless, I really don't think there's anything to re-review. Even if they did, the manga itself has enough problems alone. I have not seen the anime, but from what I remember, it was considered bad enough that they refused to translate it, which speaks wonders for its chances of being on here.

To be clear, if the only part of the policy was "it needs to simply have enough story to not clearly be porn", yeah, many more works would be here.

I was bringing it up just for the completeness. Yeah, KNJ wouldn't stay no matter what.

What about Caligula (especially since there IS an R-rated version I think)? Also, any more thoughts on A Serbian Film?

I tried to flag Caligula just now since I didn't see it under the reports, but I don't know how to do it anymore. Although the page itself doesn't seem to be locked.

Caligula has been resolved to "restore". I've put it in a sandbox for cleaning.

As for A Serbian Film, I could create Sandboxes for the main page and the YMMV page.

Eh? That... thing finished a long time ago. Dunno how many chapters though.

I'd consider saying it should be reviewed, for consistency's sake, but we all know it'd get devilheads all around and stay exactly where it is.
