The thing about Brad is that his geniality has given him a reputation as being the one TGWTG person that even people who hate TGWTG like, which unfortunately means that a lot of his most vocal fans are people who hate TGWTG.
Also, since Spoony helped make him popular, he shares a lot of fans with Spoony, whose fans are also notoriously hard on TGWTG.

, but give him credit, he apologized loads for possibly overreacting for the first one and wanted someone who liked it to tell him what good it had for the third.

We get that, and if that was actually born out in the text it'd be no issue. Wish-fulfillment has its place. Unfortunately the "perfect man" is stalking, manipulative and wallows in self-pity and the "easily imprintible girl" is infuriatingly bitchy, manipulative, submissive, and...wallows in her own self-pity.
The criticism I don't get is when people ask what this romance is founded on and what common traits they share.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Isn't this the thread for To Boldly Flee and the 4th anniversary as opposed to TGWTG in general? I guess we could talk about next year's anniversary if we wanted.
What would you guys like for the next anniversary? I'm up for someone else writing the script instead of Doug or Rob, or making it more about a character besides NC, with Doug being more of a Director.
I wouldn't be surprised if there just isn't a 5th-year anniversary movie, but if there is? First priority should be cost of production. Smaller cast (say—Doug, Rob, Lindsay, Lewis, Brad, Orlando, Jim Troken, and a couple others, based on expense on transportation), a different director (maybe Brad, Ed Glaser, or Brad's friend Ryan Mitchelle), and shorter run time. I'd also suggest filming it in Springfield, not Chicago, so they can use Team Snob to round out the cast without paying for their lodging.
As much as I'd love to see that as even a fever dream of the Chick's, we have to come to terms with the fact the bit in part one was just a Fandom Nod tease.

The Blockbuster Buster did a pretty good review of it.
........ Holly's statement from what I said is on the To Boldly Flee main page. ...did she change her mind?!
Probably what was meant is that the 5th Year Anniversary thing, if it happens at all, will be something quick and small and filmed at Magfest. Or at least, that's what lots of people are assuming at this point.

Stomping on your fingers as you're clinging on to the abyssI just figured it wouldn't involve a massive amount of contributors appearing (aside perhaps from the obligatory cameos) and wouldn't be on such a grandiose scale thematically.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Honestly, 5 is the first real "milestone" year. I think it'd be more appropriate than anything to do another decent-sized one next year and then lay off until the 10th.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies....assuming they're still around for a 10th anniversary, that is.
Eh, milestones aren't necessary to celebrate.

I think this song is one of the few places Sad Panda's singing voice doesn't irritate me.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Let's fly up into space
With everything we own
No regrets should be allowed
This is your last trip
And I'll be part of it
'Cuz in the end I owe you one
We're not gonna make it, are we?
We're not gonna make it, are we?
Even if the [????]
If you go down
I will go down with you
Don't leave the memories
That make you feel alive
We need them now more than ever
This is your last trip
And you won't do it alone
There's no way you can [???]
Fire everything right now
Let it all just fade to black
What we laugh and we don't know
But we won't even know
We're not gonna make it, are we?
We're not gonna make it, are we?
Even if the [????]
If you go down
I will go down with you
Do you know what's going on
My friends
I'm scared
Well don't be scared
I'll be there in the end
YEAH! We will make it trust me!
YEAH! We will make it trust me!
Just know that though everything is dark
This [????] will rise again with you

You could say the same for most of the contributors and their loud followers. Take how the Mara Wilson thing started for example, Doug's Fan Dumb clearly didn't listen to his constant "I don't hate anyone and every film is worth something" shtick.
