Arturia reacted at almost the same time as Eddie, her fingers curling so tightly around the nice china cup that she crushed the handle, causing it to fall to the table top. She put one hand to her head, as the mother of all headaches made itself known.
Blades Clashing...
The Black Knight...
“Saber!”
Her eyes snapped open as she struggled to sort through the...memories...that rushed through her head.
It was at this point she noticed Eddie had left. Arturia stood up, glancing around for Jack. Not seeing him for the moment, Arturia quickly went through her pockets, bringing up enough cash hopefully for the drinks and the destroyed cups. Then she hurried out after Eddie, seeing him wheezing.
She came up behind him and said,
“I take it I was not the only one to...react...”
Jack had been washing teacups in the kitchen, when his eyes snapped open. His head pounded.
"Long ago... I... Master of Darkness... unleashed... EVIL... foolish... warrior... magic sword... before... final blow... portal... time... the future... my... LAW... return... past... undo..."
A great demon, rose into the sky, black as night with a sickly green face. Fire crackled above massive eyes, as it glared down... up?... at Jack. Then...
"...the future that is AKU."
The samurai leaned against the stove, ignoring a whistling teapot, shaking and white. He slowly poured tea and brought it out. He mentally noted that the blond woman and her companion were gone. But his attention was elsewhere. He turned to stare at a single, specific blade on the wall - an otherwise unremarkable katana, but it was all he had to remember his past life.
"Magic sword..." Those words resounded in his head.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Eddie glanced at the woman next to him, straightening and shaking his head a bit, rubbing at his hair self-consciously. "Uhhh...pft, sorry about that, I, uh...that's never happened to me before." He glanced down, wincing. "Well, I am now drenched in alcohol." He blew out a breath. "You okay?"
Easing back into life one step at a timeHangover
Mumbling as she was jostled to the new location, the redhead was otherwise preoccupied with some fragmented memories involving a short haired tomboy and an antagonistic piglet during her subconscious state. After a while of some rather violent comedy, the girl woke up with a grunt.
"Why does my head and side hurt so hard?" She mumbled and clutched at her head. It was then she noticed a peculiar sensation of fabric on bare skin... And someone's breath nearby. Eyes turning in their sockets to peer at the partner sharing the bed, she quietly raised the covers... and set it down again. "Right... What the hell happened?" The now belligerent redhead asked the phantom, a sort of panicked edge to her voice.
Chickenfeed
"I'm man enough to pay for your spirits, piggybac-" Vaan stopped his taunt as soon as he saw that the girl had a strange look on her face. Despite how boorish he could be at times, the sky pirate still had a feeling something was up. "Right, you alright, mate?" He asked, a slight hint of worry in his voice as he beheld her face.
His concern was then compounded by the lancing sensation that burned his mentality as a cascade of images fell into place. The brightest pieces were those of a lithe girl with a ready smile, her hair adorned in twin pigtails. A name drifted at the edge of his thoughts, but grip it he could not. What the... Why does my heart...
And as if to add more fuel to the metaphorical wildfire, something big smashed the wood of the bar. Glancing up with slightly bleary eyes, the sky pirate's photosensitive organs widened in surprise at the colossal raptor nuzzling the girl. "...Miss, I don't think this establishment works with such free range poultry." The somewhat astonished look on his face was replaced by a wizened smile as he regarded Yuna. Hey, he was still Vaan. A snark was needed.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected."Well, you drunk more than a girl like you reasonably should... and then we came back here and did that. You make such cute noises," Mima lied, continuing to hug the girl from behind. Because of height differences, this meant Ranma didn't have much in the way of choice of pillow... and was in even more contact with Mima than 'she' would like, "Such a soft body, too."
And then, not really displaying much in the way of self-preservation (or maybe just not considering 'being beaten to death' a likely prospect) Mima took advantage of Ranma's twisting to kiss her. Her breath still smelled of alcohol... but given some accidents in the past, Mima had effectively kissed much worse things. And stale alcohol was an improvement over human flesh.
Eirin carefully put her ingredients down when an oversized bird appeared on a nearby roof. Not really noticing the memories filtering back, filling in a few blanks, she drew her bow, took aim (despite the lack of an arrow) and paused. Would this or would this no cause more property damage than the bird itself?
While Link was somewhat interested in what the lombax was planning on using the parts for, he was far more interested in what he had saw moments ago. It could have been a hallucination, but it seemed so real so familiar, as if he had been there himself. And all thought out, there had been something that stood out above it all, a single purpose that his mind refused to let go even by the most powerful magics. A lovely face, framed by long blond hair and a smile, and a single name: Zelda.
"Uh, sure, but I still need to make the rest of my deliveries, so I guess I see it later" Link said to Ratchet's offer, though the tunic'd man was more focused on the memories than his deliveries. He walked out of the mechanic's shop and took his bike back, and rode it around the block mindlessly in thought.
The worst thing about it was the smell, a combination of the sterile chemicals of a hospital and rotting flesh. Second was of course what that rotting flesh was connected to, undead corpses and even worse were stalking the halls. The underground lab was unfortunately not at all clean, both from years of being untended and the decomposing material smearing the walls. But Jill keeping moving through the tunnel, the evidence she needed to bring Umbrella down for it's crime was staking up and she soon be out of-
-click-
The sound of someone cocking their gun was a few feet from her head, and it was aimed at her. She turned to face her assailant, to see...
Jill was leaning on the wall with hand hand holding her head, partly from the completely surprise of the strange vision appearing and holding down the urge to throw up. What was that? It seemed so real, could it have been her memory returning. But there was so little knowledge gained and only more questions.
Thankfully there was a distraction. Not far from her she spotted what had looked like a large bird of prey smashing through the roof of a building. Being the closest officer there, Jill sprinted over to the site already unsnapping her pistol holster but not pulling her weapon out until she was sure something bad was there. She reached the door and threw it open to find something odd: the large bird seemed to be perched next to a woman, looking rather friendly compared to it's initial entrance. "Could someone please explain what's happened" The officer ordered, though if she ment the bird or the sudden reverse amnesia was anyone's guess, including her's.

Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeStartled, Cassie leaped back. As smart as she was, she was a child, and a giant bird had just torn through a building. This was fairly scary. Her first instinct was to find the nearest adult and hide behind them, and that adult happened to be Eirin. Peering out from behind her, Cassie stared at the bird. Where had it come from? Why was it so big and scary? Why was it smashing through a building!?
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Raem, the ill-girl destined to kick Vaan in the nuts
The sweat, the chill she recieved, it was unbearable. She shook, but she took in a deep breath. Another one and Raem was fine. "Ah, don't worry about me ye-" she stopped midsentence. What the hell was going on. Was that a bird?
That was a bird. A large, winged bird not unlike a dragon. "Ye'd certainly know a chicken when ye've seen one. Must be family, eh chicken legs?" Raem said as she grinned. She looked toward Vaan before looking back to Yuna.
Scared shitless
"W-whoa...!" Tifa didn't expect that. She was attending to customers when THIS thing came out of the sky. What was it, who did it belong to, and why was it here? It burst through the ceiling like it was made of paper-mache. Where the hell did it come from?
"Uh..." she moved up from the floor, making her way around the bar and to the bird. "Why did...?" she pointed to the sky.
The fourth Assassin's Rule: Shout loudly what the first three rules are, so that the enemy is aware of your presence!King of Heroes, or King of Fools? You decide!
"Hah, there is no look that would not look good on me, flower maiden!" Archer laughed, his booming voice echoing all around. Even as he did so, the golden portals of Bab-ilu opened up once more and dropped a bucket of paint in his hands. "And why not? Pink is a manly colour, after all!"
For all his bravado, though, it pained him somewhat to aply the hot pink paintjob to his bike. He liked gold, after all. Gold was the colour of wealth, the only colour fit for the King of... King of... Well, he was sure he was the king of something, at least.
Big Bird
After her intial reaction to the giant avian creature now nuzzling her partner, Yorihime did the only thing she could in this situation. Namely, put down her glass and instead take a good, long swig from the open sake bottle.
"Ah, um, I... I apologise..." Yuna muttered to the onlookers, holding the bird's head to her chest in a vain attempt to make the giant creature look somewhat less intimidating. "She... She doesn't mean any harm. She..." Valefor. "...Valefor won't hurt anyone, I promise all of you."
She rested her head against Valefor's neck, not sure what to do right now. She remembered how to summon her, but... Dismissing her seemed more difficult to recall. That might prove problematic in the near future.
"I'm sorry," she apologized again as Vaan spoke to her. "I didn't mean t- Tidus?" Her words failed her as soon as she looked up at the sky pirate's face. The ressemblence was... Uncanny. He looked just like... Just like...
"T... Tidus? Is that... Really you?"
"I'm beginning to think you're not as shallow as I believed" Yuuka noted gleefully. "Lesser men would have fled before performing such menial tasks for my pleasure~"
The flower youkai wondered just how far this man was willing to go. Could he endure much humiliation before breaking? Hm... what to do next...
"Right, okay." Ratchet replied, preparing his tools for the Greatest Weapon Ever. This was going to be so fun...
Though he wondered why he felt someone in particular might disapprove of him creating something so overpowered for no real reason.
Hibari entered the bar, staring coldly at the creature, which seemed to be with the woman hugging it. Looked like he'd found the source of this disturbance already.
Obviously not caring how much of a danger it truly posed, the black-haired youth approached. "Move." He commanded the woman that held it to her chest. "I will bite this creature to death. And perhaps find a suitable punishment for disrupting the peace and quiet of this place." He added coldly.
Arturia nodded,
“I am not harmed. Though...” she trailed off as she thought on the memories that had assailed her.
Who was the black knight? The boy who had called her 'saber'?
Why did he call her...
Arturia shook her head,
“I do not know why this happened. But something is wrong. What did you see?”
Eddie shook his head a bit, wincing and brushing at his hair absently with one hand. "I was...underwater. Not like any water I've ever seen, it was like...dark. And I just felt for a second like I was drowning, like something had me and I couldn't get loose." He shuddered a moment, then shook it off. "That was creepy. I've never felt anything like that."
Easing back into life one step at a timeTaking Responsibility
"Bwuh. I... did..." Ranma sputtered uncontrollably as soon as her small frame shook. "Did I... really... do it?" She asked, trying to make sure that she did indeed... well, partook of a forbidden fruit. "R-right... D-do you have proof that... we did the deed?" She asked the phantom, cold sweat dripping down the small of her back. Unconsciously clenching the sheets in her hand, the pig tailed girl looked ready to collapse once more should the answer be what she was dreading. This might be why I've always avoided alcohol...
A Familiar Face
"Tidus?" Vaan parroted in surprise as he looked at the beast tamer's face. As he did so, a multitude of different feelings flashed through his mind; familiarity, pensiveness, and empathy.
"Um..." His throat suddenly dry and devoid of wit for once as the summoner related him to another person, the sky pirate found himself on the unfamiliar territory of being at a loss for words. "I... I'm not him. My name is Vaan." He finally managed to croak out, an uneasy smile on his face. "I'm sorry for not being who you thought I was..." Apologetic intonations were distinguishable in his words, and it hurt the man to even say it for some odd reason.
Great, now I really am a chicken like the waif is saying. The tan man thought as he struggled to think of something less awkward to say. He didn't really need to, considering at that moment some idiot youth marched on up to the girl and demanded she step aside so he could "bite the thing to death." It was rather surreal, all the events happening in conjunction with each other. Silently moving in between the boy and the odd master and servant, blue eyes grew steely and cold as they regarded Hibari with metallic detachment. The message it would send was rather clear.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Raem, a confused lass sitting in a bar fool of idiots
"Eh..." she sat there for a moment. Bird, then weird cop only referred to as Jill, and then a person threatening to eat the bird that destroyed the roof? Raem could only shake her head from side to side. She took another sip from the glass of ale before setting it down onto the table. "Ey, Vaan." for the first time in a while, she called the tanned monkey by name. "What's wrong?" she asked sincerely, which, again, was another scary thing coming from the hardy, stubborn lass called Raem Pallor.
The bird was strange, the cop was strange, this entire situation was strange. Then again, this is the thing that Lastria is best known for. It's pure chaos... at least no one was going to be bored.
Tifa, the girl with jugs about to leak. That's how confused she is.
"I.. um... " Tifa stuttered. "C-can someone explain to me WHAT exactly is going on...?"
Those are the only words the girl could muster. Her roof was destroyed, and then a guy threatened to eat the culprit that literally brought the house down. Oh man, she lost her patience.
Soon she'd start kicking someone's ass.

The fourth Assassin's Rule: Shout loudly what the first three rules are, so that the enemy is aware of your presence! The girl that Jill Valentine assumed was the massive bird's owner was quick to defend the creature. While it seemed harmless at the moment, it was still a wildcard and even if it didn't hurt anyone it probably will do more damage to the building once the girl left. Either way, Jill saw paper work ahead of her and it would be easier on her to at least keep an eye on them until it was gone. Frustrating as it was, she still has a job to do. "Alright" She told Yuna, relaxing a little bit "but just for safety I'd-Hey!"
Before she could finish the STARS officer was rudely pushed past by a boy with black hair, who moved up to the summoner and had threatened to, to the complete befuddlement of Jill, BITE the creature to death. What the kid was thinking was beyond her, but he was threatening both of them and Jill was not going to stand for that. She reached down to the tazer on her belt but did not take it out just yet. "Hold on there. You're not-" she had to stop herself from saying bite "you're not harming anyone" While this happened, one of the restaurant's patrons had gotten in between the kid and the woman, and Jill did not like someone else getting putting themselves in harm's way. Hopefully he knew what he was doing.
Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky like"We're naked in bed together, silly," Mima said, something in the way she said it seeming so... believable, and trustworthy. She sounded like someone that didn't lie about stuff. Of course, this was completely the wrong impression—but Ranma didn't have the years of experience with the evil spirit that would allow her to see the lie for what it was. Or at least raise the possibility of a lie, "Of course we did it."
Given how haphazardly the green-haired female had strewn her clothes about the room... this wasn't too unbelievable.
Light swirled around the bow, a vortex curling inwards about where the arrow would be. Implausibly, the red-and-blue vortex coalesced into a bright white shaft but continued to tightly curl around it. Arrow aimed and ready, Eirin fired, straight for the bird's head. It probably wouldn't appreciate a magically formed projectile slamming into its head at high speeds. At least it was nonlethal... though Eirin wasn't terribly sure why she'd made it in such a way.
Frederic had just gotten behind the counter, but it seems like the bird wasn't doing any harm other than the roof (which he wasn't sure who was paying for). It really did seem things were going to quiet down, but no such luck. Suddenly, a boy bursts through the door and offers to bite the creature to death. If there was any doubt in his mind before that this was a dream, it's all gone now. Plus, it was starting to look like Tifa was getting pissed. He ducked under the counter for more cover.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOCassie stared. And stared. And stared. What had Eirin just done? She'd made this glowy stuff and then her arrow glowed and then she fired it at the bird and it was really, really confusing. At the moment, the small girl elected to try and hide herself completely behind Eirin, since that seemed like the logical course of action.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Eddie winced a bit, glancing back in the direction they'd run from. "I'll, uh...I'll get my axe but then I think I may head back home, uh...I'm not...not sure I'm feeling as big on being out right now as I was..." He scratched his head a bit, then dug into his pocket for his wallet. "Uh, I'll pay the dude for the drinks, at least, I was intruding on your time, anyway, I didn't, uh, didn't mean to do that. It's not like me."
Easing back into life one step at a timeEnuma Elish
With a long, deep sigh, Archer looked over his handiwork. Sure enough, his bike was now completely coated in its new bubblegum pink paint job. He was starting to wonder if any treasure was really worth this.
"Um... Hah! See, there is no task I cannot complete!" No matter how false his bravado was, his hammy overacting always somehow made it seem genuine. "Now, name your third task, so that I may make quick work of that too!"
Something-something lunar imagery something-something
"Oh..." Yuna's head drooped in disappointment. She'd been mistaken all this time. Tidus wasn't here after all. How could she be so stu-
"Please... Don't hurt Valefor," she pleaded to the madman who had... Threatened to bite the giant monster to death. Yuna wasn't exactly sure how to take this threat, but Yori knew exactly what to do in this situation: pour another drink for herself.
The man had no chance to sink his teeth into the bird, though, as a red, white and blue projectile suddenly crashed into her side. With a screech of pain, Valefor disappeared from this world to recover.
"Lovely!" Yuuka cheered, clapping her hands together. "I think you'll easily clear the next one!"
The flower youkai held a hand to her side, grabbing her umbrella from the vine that helpfully handed it to her. Opening said umbrella, Yuuka held it aloft.
"Challenge the Third! Scratch my never-wilting flower!" Yuuka declared cheerfully. Judging by the umbrella's perfect state, it was somewhat sturdy. You'd need unbelievable strength to mark it.
Hibari stared coldly back at the young man who tried to step between him and the woman who seemed to have called the creature. Tch, just an insect. Some other woman tried to talk him down. Neither were worth his time, it was the creature he was interested i-
One arrow later and it was gone. Hibari stared at its old location, his face expressionless. Then, with a disgruntled sigh, merely turned to leave. That thing had turned out to be weak, after all. Typical of the populace, really. Oh well. Maybe someone worthy resided elsewhere in this place...
Raem, the half-drunken lass
Raem ignored Vaan and Yuna's conversation. She followed Yori in the ideal of "Drink until your problem goes away." She took another swig of her own alcohol and set it back down onto the table.
"A Ghh... Ey, tanned monkey... join me in me drinks..." another drink and she sets it back down onto the table. She came here with Vaan, not the shrine maiden.. miko.. whatever her name was, she'll just refer to her as Chicken Feed.
"Ah..." another drink, the cup falls down onto the table with a thud. Or rather than fall, it's violently smashed into the table. "Ahaha..." Raem laughed and laughed. Yeah, she was enjoyed alright. "Ey!" she called to Yori as she raised her glass. "YE HAVE THE RIGHT IDEA!" and then.. another drink.
Tifa whom is relieved that ONLY HER ROOF WAS DESTROYED
"W-what..." she looked to the ceiling and then grit her teeth. Her eyes then fell on Yuna who seemed nice enough but that bird? No, she was glad it was gone. "Excuse me but how do you plan on..." she pointed to the heavens.
It was a nice day out today, at least, and from the opened roof they could see that clearly!

The fourth Assassin's Rule: Shout loudly what the first three rules are, so that the enemy is aware of your presence!

A Peaceful Day At Work
A loud slam of random notes.
Chopins fingers pressed hard against the keys, his nubs turning white. A sudden vision halted all progress through the piece he was playing as he perceived his vision. There he was. It seemed he was asleep. From what he could tell with the covers on, he was in a white dress shirt. Sitting by the bed was a doctor and a woman in a purple dress. The woman looked so worried and the doctor looked so sad. Was he really asleep or was he...?
He didn't get the chance to finish that dreadful thought as a large red bird-like creature suddenly appeared from the sky and landed next to a girl. Chopin slowly backed away to the counter with the plan for cover.
After a Narrow Escape
"Whew. Glad I dodged that bullet."
Neku returned to his normal pace again. It gave him a feeling of deja vu, avoiding people who looked like they might mug him if he got too close, but he brushed it off. He kept walking, determined to find more excitement in his day with the power of Tin Pin.
Suddenly, he heard what sounded like splitting of wood from down the street. He turned a corner and caught a brief look at a giant pair of wings.
"Rrriiigghhtt..."
It was certainly excitement, but not what he was looking for. He turned the opposite direction and walked away. Whatever was about to happen, not his problem.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGO
