Good idea; Comics books can be a big sound effect/unsound effect.
Oh god, now I really want it to say "BADGED", even though I know that's too big.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Well, I don't know how that's gonna be implemented, but if the badges are displayed in a row horizontally, you could have two- or three-parters of them.
Programming and surgery have a lot of things in common: Don't start removing colons until you know what you're doing. The idea is that they will show up to the left of your name just like the Herald ones.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! It's Herald. Harold is a given name.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.Hmm... do we have enough space to make a Hit Flash that says "TROPE!"
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Someone will have to try it to be sure, but... maybe? We have one that has 5 lowercase letters + a small space that fits, if only just. Turn it diaganal, have it say "Trope" (so that the r fits under the T) and you might have room for the Hit Flash bax around it.
Though the logistics of making diaginal letters in such a small space/with pixels might end up taking more space.

Ha ha, I don't know why that's funny, but it is.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick
Those are AWESOME, shima. You rock. You deserve a badge for all of this.
...
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.
I'm guessing the TRS one is meant to be a hard hat?
"Yup. That tasted purple."What's the first one supposed to be?

"Yup. That tasted purple."I think the first one in @135 is the POW! Hit Flash I suggested earlier.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. As cool as those zodiac symbols are (and they are cool) that may be treading dangerously close to making money off someone else's intellectual property. Of course Homestuck didn't invent the zodiac or those symbols, but it did single-handedly create the association between those specific colors and those specific symbols. So if we use those, we might not actually get in legal trouble, but it would still be ethically dubious.
(I know I was the one who asked for a gif cycling through all the pool balls in the first place—that was because I hadn't fully thought out the ethical implications.)
Hmmm.... maybe if we offered every zodiac symbol in every color?
I didn't write any of that.Well, let's just make the zodiac symbols' colours flexible then.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThat badger badge was exactly what I thought if when I saw the pun badge idea.
Love the IP and TRS badges.
Eh, I'd actually go with four colors for the zodiac signs, to correspond with the classical elements they go with. Blue for the water signs, red for the fire signs, green for the earth signs, and yellow for the air signs.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I like the forum badges, especially the POW! Badge. Shima, I know you were saying you didn't want to be Americacentric with the military badges, but I don't see why we can't have a number of badges that correspond with various national military forces. I only know of a few non-American military or former military tropers, including Tam (British Army) and he's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Here are some badges I made today for just US forces.

"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. And once again, nobody cares about the Coast Guard.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Ha ha, I actually thought that through, and that was my exact conclusion. It'd be easy enough to make one, though.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.I'd just say make the zodiac colors different. I mean, I'm sure there are people on the forum who would love to have their zodiac signs next to their names or something.
Reaction Image RepositoryI think crests might make for better Military badges than plain text. So EGA for the Marines, ACE for the Navy, etc.
"Yup. That tasted purple."If anyone can make crests that are recongizable at 24x24, please do. I'm not very good at digital art. I made those in Paint.

Added the badge(r), full list of forums (minus recs), and my own ideas for badges. Ramen anyone?
