Mind if I did what I did with previous images of yours and take the base icons and mod them? I can add colour. You're good with base form.
By all means!
Here, take these too:
EDIT: Ia ia tentacles fhtagn why am I encouraging this behaviour in the Cosmic Horror fandom <_<

I'm not sure if the script itself is copyrighted, but if it's not, here's one for Lord Of The Rings fans.
It's a bit plain, so if anyone has any ideas for jazzing it up, feel free to use it as a base.

I thought Lord Of The Rings would've been off copyright by now?
@Cthulhu: I'm not good at doing anything that has to do with art, but of course I see it as my privilege - nay, my duty! - to criticise everything anyone else does. So, that Cthulhu ... It looks kinda ... square. But it could serve as a base.
If it was published after 1922, it is not and will never be off copyright.
Gotta love the Mickey Mouse Protection Act

I was gonna say that that sounds too stupid to be true, but then I remembered that it's copyright law we're talking about here...
Not sure where to put the "red A" : religious* I won't be adding it if so, reference, or other. If we do keep it, the flavor text should show what we want it to mean but expect its modified text to be used for other purposes.
@Noa: Got the Eye of Providence in (I knew enough to find The Other Wiki article on it) but do not know the other two (though they do look familiar...)
Looking over the things listed under Video Games, I decided to move the (lie) chocolate cake, companion cube, and Moggle head down to references; the sword and bow-and-arrows down to weapons; and the gems to other. The "hang out" ones will be reserved for general images, the references section for specific references, and the other badges can be used for non-reference purposes.
Exactly why I did not post it. Good to have official back-up on that decision.

I don't think we can have the A at all. Anarchism is a political ideology, and Atheism is a lack of religion. If we're not gonna allow religious symbols or logos of political parties, we can't allow either of the A symbols.
BTW, would someone like to make an EU flag? I'd probably buy that, as well as the Finnish flag.
I do not believe that LOTR script and language are copyrighted. I can write a book in Quenya if I really want to, and I don't think I have to get permission from the Tolkien estate for it. I could be wrong, though.
You should be able to give (and return, by return giving) badges to others. your collection
If you don't write a note with the gift, a default message is sent.
Let's see... shimaspawn, Dark Confidant, Noaqiyeum, Artemis92, Vm Kid, Deboss (he is away from T Vtropes right now), and I have/can share badges. How about we just send two to the next person on the list—one with a customized PM, one without—so that we can all check both features? So shimaspawn=>Dark Confidant=>Noaqiyeum=>Artemis92=>Vm Kid=>Belian=>shimaspawn.
If anyone else wants me to try and send them a badge, just ask.
EDIT: one thing I already noticed is that the PM automatically has two spaces in it. Also, nice to see that the links work properly now.

Badge share feature seems to be working. Now to test what happens when I send it to myself...
EDIT: Sending a badge to yourself causes the badge to stay in your collection and sends the PM. That's good. No bugs there.

Sorry. Was away for a bit. Going to test the function now
I got the same result when I sent a badge to myself.
Could someone send me a badge so I can verify the other end?
edited 9th May '12 3:47:59 PM by DarkConfidant
When you receive a badge, the PM should probably give you a link to your collection or at least illustrate your gift.
[EDIT: Never mind, I went back and checked where I thought I had read that. Forget that, then.]
I don't have whichever badge you sent.
I sent you a devil head...
When I send myself a badge, the default message's link to the collection is broken.
I didn't get a devil head, nor did I get a message saying that one was sent.
There's the distinct possibility that you need to send it via CamelCase:
DarkConfidant =/= Dark Confidant.
Is there a way to do some sort of fuzzy matching?
edited 9th May '12 4:49:12 PM by DarkConfidant
Okay, tried again with a sandvich.
(Interestingly, the devil head is no longer in my collection, either.)
edited 9th May '12 4:52:38 PM by Noaqiyeum
Alright. That worked.
Therefore, Fast One: It needs to be very clear that individuals CamelCase troper names when donating.
OH HEY I see what happened - I checked my mailbox. I sent the devil head to Dark Confident by mistake. :P
There should be a thing similar to avatar sharing that verifies that the destination troper actually exists.
edited 9th May '12 4:53:21 PM by Noaqiyeum
Well, that would explain things as well... (Does everyone make that misspelling?)
Would there be some way to get a verification page?
edited 9th May '12 4:54:00 PM by DarkConfidant
I usually don't make that typo, I swear! >_<
I had an idea for the 'ask me for help' badge - could someone who's actually halfway-decent or better at pixel art try to make a candlestick telephone◊?
edited 9th May '12 5:00:38 PM by Noaqiyeum
Knew I had seen fleur-de-lis before...
Got them added now.
@shima: What, didn't like the flag? I got it back just fine with the message you sent.
Hm... anyone try sending a badge with changed flavor text? If "yes," did it keep the changed text or revert to the default?
To the first, yes. To the second, you tell me. :D
edited 9th May '12 5:18:34 PM by Noaqiyeum
Let me test that.
I sent a badge to myself with alternate text. The alternate text stayed.

How well does it match the trope?
