On the front-page list - I think there's a bunch of things under 'Video Games' that should probably go under 'references'?

For 'affiliations', I guess:

@Noa: Hell is that "A" thing? I've been seeing that around, too, and I have no idea what it is. :/

Makes me think of V for Vendetta and The Slenderman Mythos.

I thought it was the anarchy A.

International symbol of anarchism.

...that reminds me, I should make an Operator symbol too.

Also, I had an idea for the 'ask me for help' badge that I've concluded I clearly do not have the skill to render. Can anyone try to render a candlestick phone in pixels?

That type of A usually denotes Anarchism, though a red (or crimson) A has also been used (at least in fiction) as a punishment - an adulterer was somehow branded (not literally) with the letter A ("A for Adulterer"). (See: The Scarlet Letter.)

Recently, a red letter A has become a symbol for Atheism, as a central part of Richard Dawkins' Out campaign (which encourages atheists to "come out" so that people who hold prejudices about atheists would have to come to terms with the fact that about 5% of all Americans are atheists (and something like 15% with no religious affiliation but not putting "atheist" in the polls,) and in most countries that percentage is much higher.)

Ninja'd.

I was away from TV Tropes for a while, fortunately I saw Eddie's last post about free goodies so I'm going to go ahead and test them now.

When starting I have 42 densities, each badge appears to cost 1.25 mew.

I have selected Magic Eight Ball twice (am I supposed to be able to do that?) as well as a few other badges. I'm going to check out now, and see if everything works.

The system seems to have a check box system for deciding if I want to buy it, keep it for later, or drop it. Keep it for later is the default (I appreciate this, it's always good to maintain the status quo for purchase orders if nothing is done intentionally). From experimentation, the checkout panel does not keep a running update, so if I open it in one tab and then go shopping for more, they'll not be on the list. Going to test all three features now.

Okay, having done the purchases: all three buttons are working as labeled for me. I'll test the addons shortly.

That particular A has no risk of being mistaken for the symbol of the Out campaign, as it doesn't look at all similar.

Wikipedia's article on the Out Campaign has the symbol that atheists are using.

You sure it's copyri - Oh, because it's political (and/or religious).

@Multiples of a badge: I think you'll be able to display more than one of a given badge at a time. Thus, the heart containers. You could show three full hearts if you wanted.

Purchases successful, flavor text successfully edited. Could not add them, however I suspect that they haven't actually been added to the code yet. I didn't bother sending one to somebody since I assume it's not going to work.

Suggestions: a "revert flavor text to default" option might be desired, but it's not a high priority since you can just go copy the text from the badge shop. Perhaps a number of badges marker at the top in case I want to send ten people cake would be useful. A "get more of this badge" button could be added as well.

I don't think the buttons besides the Alt Text-editing ones even do anything, yet. If they do, I couldn't tell from my iPod.

Also, first shot at a firework going off. Hopefully it won't set off anyone's OCD.

The atheism A (also the color red is important, "scarlet letter") is different: [1]. That is an anarchy A, which is often but not always red: [2].

Generally, you have "This is" and "That was." "This" preceeds; "That" succeeds. Damned if I know why, but that's how it is. :/

It was technically correct, but misleading.
