@649 we have to prevent the third one though, because that is when we all turn to orange goo.
Or we could take a cue from the Chinese and Japanese and name the technically-third one "Fourth Google Impact".

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.A wrinkle in the conclusions of this thread; I watch the Asexuality page, which just had it's Real Life folder cut per this thread. Problem is... it's asexuality. Not exactly a lewdness or prudishness magnet. I think the folder should be put back in.

I rarely visit the forums to avoid the cynicism ooze.I read the deleted entries. I don't think they were any use as they were. I mean, I guess celebrities kind of count as fiction, but I don't whink we need a catalogue of asexual famous people. What's the point? Now, if their sexual orientation was part of their art, that would be something, but I highly doubt that that's the case.
That said, they weren't lewd at all so if someone wants to bring them back I have no objection. I just don't know why someone would want them back.

Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur. That was done as a blanket wipe of all RL examples of Sex Tropes.
That said I agree with Best Of... there is no point to keeping them there.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'd agree asexuality should be restored. It's asexuality, A.K.A a lack of sexuality. That's as Moral Guardian safe as there is.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI'm seeing ads from real companies again, do we have Google back?
The child is father to the man —OedipusHuh, you're right. My usual ads are back as well.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerYeah, I'm getting a lot of those, but I also saw others that I assume are Google — I clicked through on one and now I'm getting related ads on sites I'm pretty sure use Google.
The child is father to the man —OedipusThe ads I get from Google on this site are noticeably different from the ones I get without Google. Right now, I only get the ones I had at Google time.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerHere's a hint, at least from my perspective - if you're not seeing any ads for Evony-ish online games, especially the racy ads, chances are good that Ad Sense isn't back yet. Those vanished when they dropped us, and I haven't seen any of them yet.

I got Dragons Of Atlantis and this maze game... does that mean Adsense is back?
Originally, I was on the side of the "prudes". Despite being against censorshop, and in fact liking TV Tropes the way it was before, I figured I might as well help TV Tropes improve it's reputation by getting rid of the creepy stuff. However, I've since changed my mind, but have come too late now that we have another Google problem. I think the best solution is to get an 18+ site. We won't have censored everything, and we can still keep Google.
18+ isn't an option, I've heard:
- 18+ is associated with porn (FE said no to the latter)
- Many good people are younger than that
- Google asks for "no explicit stuff", not for 18+
Yeah, I don't see the need for 18+. That's just porn sites.
Maybe we need a banner on Sex Tropes and the family: "This page has to do with sexual content. You have been warned."
And warn that details and images of people fucking are unnecessary.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerDo we even use that? Because we really should.
