Also, can we use this this thread for semi-Oo C fun things? As in: Post reactions/scenarios that would be stupid or even nigh-suicidal when they would've actually been played out, but are hilarious nonetheless?
For example: (Silan, back at the bomb shop) "Oh, come on! What could possibly go wrong?", the young Sheika said. "I mean, it's not like I'm going to actually cast a fire spell.". While he says this, he sarcastially waves his Magic Rod around. Predictably, one of the sparks that fly off lands right in the middle of a pile of bombs. "Whoops...".
And thus, Unit D ceased to be before it even got started...

Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=DSo uhm, how were you planning to make the MP system work? Obviously, more powerful spells take more MP, but... Let's say one shot from Silan's staff uses up 1 MP (or 2 if the MP cost lowers later on); how much MP would he have in that case?
Note that I'm just using the term MP for lack of a better term; I know that Zelda technically doesn't have MP, but meh.

Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=DAo L had a magic bar, so I'll base Silan's on that.
I'll work on the numbers, and then I'll post 'em here.
Okay, Neo, Silan starts out with a magic meter(We'll call it MM) of 64 magic points, and will obtain larger M Ms as the game progresses. The spells cost a large amount of points at the beginning, and get cheaper as the game goes by and Silan becomes more experienced. I.E:
- Shield Spell(Reduces damage taken), costs 32 points at the beginning, drops to 24 points pretty quickly, and drops to 16 points after the first arc.
- Reflect(Shield Buff that makes shields reflect magic), costs 120 points when you get it, drops to 80 points almost immediately, and keeps dropping throughout the game.
Magic items will also use MM, but will cost less, and the prices don't change. I.E:
- Silan's magic rod, when used by itself, costs only 6 points, and will cost 6 points throughout the entire game.
- Using the Magic Book of Fire with the Magic Rod costs 12 points, and will cost 12 points throughout the entire game.
- Using the Magic Book of Ice with the Magic Rod costs 18 points, and will cost 18 points throughout the entire game.
The MM will restore 2 points per post, and I will keep track of the points.
Double post for topic switch reasons.
So, I had some questions considering the Shield spell.
1: Can Silan only use it on himself, or can he use it on his team members too?
2: How does the spell work? That is to say; how long does it work, do I need to cast the spell before someone/something attacks Silan (Or, if the spell can also be used on team members, whoever is targeted by an attack) etc.

Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=D"Zzzzzzz...." *is poked* *mumbles, opens eyes, and yelps*
Oooookay, I apparently didn't do anything on this for 11 days
. I'm sorry, and I'm not gonna try to make an excuse, because it's entirely my fault, but I don't plan on it happening again.
So... Thank you for poking, Neo. I should put in a resurrection spell book for you. Maybe add a side quest, where you save the life of a little girl named Zelda Unit'd. Or maybe not, we shall see.
I get the feeling I'm going to have to write out most of the P Cs soon.
I'll be giving whoever else might still playing most of today to post, then I'll post again and poke 'em.
Once I get to my notes, the purging(which is, luckily, only one character!) will be underway.
Also, I'm curious... How are you guys liking this so far? I desire your opinions!
EDIT: aaaaand now I'm having computer issues. Hopefully, I'll be able to post tomorrow.

Quadruple Posting.
So, I'm sorry to say that I'm not going to be G Ming this anymore. A combination of massive writer's block, as well as drama going on outside of this, has caused me to lose interest in this. And a GM that isn't interested is never a good GM. I'm very sorry...
So, you guys can do what you wish with this, whether it be scrapping it, or otherwise.

Okay, I'm getting the feeling I should time skip.
